No the coin cell backup battery is not rechargeable. If the MobilePro 900 back up battery is low it should be replaced. The battery is a CR2032 coin-cell battery, which is very common and can be purchased at most department and drug stores. Refer to section 1-7 of the “MobilePro 900 Handheld PC’s User’s Guide” for detailed replacement instructions.

My 3000 N200 does not go past the screen displaying the lenovo/intel/energy star logo. pressed the care button and followd prompts already. anything else I can do?

lenovo screen is BIOS POST (power on self tests) failing.
it means hardware failure, 99% or 1% HDD OS is corrupted.
all PCs do this at 5 years (par)
PCs fail for 2 reasons, batteries bad, or HDD bad.
2 things wash wear repeat,
made 2007. 15 years old today, and ran for 15 years and failed just now. or stored for ages and today out of dusty box it fails.
sure and sure. regardless, if not serviced,
this PC came in screen sizes, not told by you and here is the waring
in the manual of your PC.

i your
computer is one of 15.4-inch display models,
charge the cmos clock battery for more than 8
hours by connecting the ac adapter and run bios
setup utility t reconfigure the system. (SOLDER DOWN BATTERY)
THIS MEANS I ASSUME, THAT SMALLER SCREEN MODEL
14.1-inch screen model? "SAYS SIMPLY REPLACE IT"
USES NORMAL COIN CELL. BUT THAT DOES NOT MATTER AT ALL
AS ETHER KIND ARE NO GOOD AT 15 YEARS OLD EVER.
ERROR CODE 0250? FROM BIOS IS COIN DEAD.
The cmos coin cell battery must be replaced, if this old.
the coin or the solder down model 15.4"
the PC must run on AC power, no HUGE battery instelled
and 15.4": model the coin is rechargeable and soldered down.
the manual tells you shop service needed for the 15.4" model
the 14" is easy fix. if handy with a screw driver.

here is the 14" solder down ML1220 battery
SD, n200 real., see the blue rim (bingo soldered down)

How do I replace the Bios battery in a Dell Precision 4600 Laptop. Which videos will show me the correct disassembly procedures? Can you supply the correct part no.?

Do you mean the Dell Precision M4600 mobile workstation. According to the User Manual, the coin cell battery is a 3V CR2032 lithium ion cell (page 117).

To replace this battery, turn off and close the laptop and remove the power cable and all external cables, docks and accessories. Make sure that the work surface is clean. Turn the system over and remove the main battery by sliding the release latch towards the center of the computer. Turn the system right side up and open the display. Press the power button to ground the laptop and drain any capacitors. Remove any cards from the card slots. Close the display again and turn the laptop upside down. Touch bare metal on the system to ground yourself relative to the computer.

Remove the two screws that hold the base cover onto the 4600. These are on the edge of the battery compartment on the side nearest the battery release latch. Press the rubber feet on the bottom of the cover towards the rear of the system to disengage the bottom door. Then remove the base cover. (See page 23 of the manual.)

Carefully disconnect the coin cell battery from the system board. There is a small white connector at the end of the wire. (The coin cell compartment is near one of the two system fans.) Pry up the current coin cell battery out of the adhesive and remove it from the computer. The connect the new battery to the coin cell compartment and reconnect the wires to the system board. See pages 49-50 in the manual. Replace the base cover and the battery.

I can't find a video for the coin cell battery replacement. However, the manual is available here: http://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_laptop/esuprt_precision_mobile/precision-m4600_service%20manual_en-us.pdf . However, the first part of the following video: http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/SupportVideos/OpenSingleVideoPlayerTab?embedCode=lmczhmZTpjgWeUO_e7UOBIx5jw4zhtez . shows disconnecting the coin cell battery from the system board (when the system is completely out of the case.

I hope this helps.

My 2007 BMW 650i remote key works sometimes. How do I re-charge my key remote?

Most remotes have a 3V li-ion coin cell that provides the power and last about 5 years. You will have to take the remote apart and replace the coin battery as there is no way to recharge. The battery cost about 4-5 bucks at the drug store.
