I have a kenmore dishwasher model# 3631674590. I like to change the top and bottom panal that slide in.and out to stainlless and also change the trim that holds the panal in place that are black to stailess or crome. If I can how much and who to I talk to. thank you

If this is a model that you can change the panels, you need to take off the trim piece on one side of the door and then slide the panel that direction and pull it out and turn it around, put it back in and replace the trim piece. Hope this helps!

• 1. Place your hands at each end of the retainer trim piece that runs along the bottom of the dishwasher door panel. The piece may be metal, black plastic or another color, depending on your dishwasher model. Lift up on the retainer section and pull it toward you to remove it. Set the retainer aside.
• 2. Press the palms of both hands on the old facing and slide it down until the top is free. The facing flexes easily to allow you to slip it out from under the trim along each side.
• 3. Hold the replacement door panel, or reverse the old one, so that the desired color is facing you. Turn the panel, if needed, so the dimensions line up with the dishwasher door.
• 4. Slip the side of the facing into the left side of the frame on the dishwasher door.
• 5. Secure the other side of the facing into the right side of the dishwasher frame by bowing the panel gently and sliding it into the frame.
• 6. Slide the new facing up and into place so you can reposition the retainer.
• 7.Hold the new color panel and the spacer behind it up over the lower edge of the frame about 1/4 inch.
  8. Snap the retainer into place. Push down on the horizontal piece gently to ensure it is securely connected.
  
• 9. Adjust the new panel down a bit with the palms of your hands to cover the 1/4-inch space.

two screws in bottom of panel and one behind the trim panel of the inside door handle. lift the panelfrom the bottom ( up not out) may need to pull out slightly at door handle. panel should slide off.

open the door
you shoud see where the door comes up against the top,
there are 8 screws that hold the door on
6 that hold the control panal
remove the eight,
close the door
pull the door out from the bottom, it will slide woun a bit now it should be free to move anway from the unit

I have a similar problem, although I have no cooling in the fridge section. Had a repair man indicate that the electrical panal(pcb board) needs to be replaced. It is on order ($200). Sure hope that is the issue. To me, it appeared that the freezer fan(which cools the fridge) was not working. Whether that is the result of a faulty electrical panal is yet to be determined. Good luck!

While waiting for someone else to answer my question, I fiddled around with the door parts. I managed to reassemble them! Here's how:

1. start with the glass panel. Slide the glass panel into the slot at the bottom of the front door frame on the stove.

2. next attach the handle. There are slots on the bottom of the handle that fit into the top of the glass panel. Slide the handle slots into the top of the glass panel.

3. screw the handle onto the oven door using the predrilled holes on the inside face of the oven door.

4. last, attach each of the two side trim strips. Slide the top of each strip into the bottom of the handle on each side of the oven door. Then slightly bend the strip outwards so that they are short enough to fit into the bottom slot of the oven door frame on each side of the glass panel.

• Unplug washer
• turn off taps
• remove trims from edge of control panel
• remove screws from under bottom edge of trims
• raise slide forward and flip control panel over, hinged at top, do not dislodge air hose to level control
• remove brass body clips under control panel, not position for reinstall
• lift body 1/2inch (locator studs at bottom) and remove, top front and both sides come away as one piece

motor pump gearbox tub suspension is now exposed
reassemble in reverse order

kenmore washer
remove left right edge trims of control panel
remove phillips screws from bottom edges of control panel
slide control panel forwad and up ~1inch
flip control panel over the back
remove bronze body springs
remove lid switch connector
lift body ~1inch slide forward and off

reinstall in reverse order

many washers have a lint trap just before the pump
the traps get full of socks, lint, or other small items
those that dont have traps, should.
examine the hose between pump and trap and drum, for trapped small items

to see the hose and trap

If the display works, but the machine doesn't fill, wash, or pump out, the control board is the only component that could cause all these symptoms.
