Hitachi Lamp Light Came on

The light engine needs replaced. If you order one check the serial number . If it has an A at the end the part will be different.

The "LAMP" LED light indication on the front of the tv screen panel flashes or light up?The projection lamp was replaced 3 year ago u belive right?The average projection lamp life about 1 1/2 or 2 years.Withthin function in the tv and in used like 4 or 5 hours a day of tv viewing.Ur tv require a new projection lamp.

The lamp should be replace to fix the no picture since the lamp light is red.

If this is an LCD projection set and the "lamp" light is on the front, then the lamp needs to be changed. No, these are not covered under warranty. All of these lamps have lifetimes. The lamp has failed. Replace it being careful to completely close the access door. There are interlocks that prevent the set from working if the door is not completely closed.

Replace Lamp in TV, lamp replacement procedure is written in user manual.

look in the back, see if the lamp is actually lit. If it is probably not a tv problem. If you can pull up the menu then you probably are on the wrong input. Are the fans running when you turn it on? IF fans are running might be lamp, if nothing is seen through the back.

the high voltage supply for the lamp may have blown.
cheap bulbs don't always have the correct rating.
made in china?

I had the same problem a little over a year ago. It was the lamp. It needed to be replaced. I hope you have the extended warranty.

The buzzing sound you most likely hear is the ballast trying to fire up the lamp. I would say replace the lamp and yes they can act up at will. If this is the first lamp replacement ever then you are doing good.
