Some MobilePro units have exhibited the following symptoms when using Compact Flash Cards or ATA PCMCIA Memory Cards: 1. Storage Card folder is not displayed when you insert a PCMCIA ATA card and/or a Compact Flash card. 2. Warning message "Unidentified PC Card Adapter". 3. Warning message "Storage Card Warning" displayed. To fix these issues: If you have a MobilePro 750C without a ROM upgrade, download the file MP75Pcm.exe from support.necsam.com. For a MobilePro 750C with upgraded ROM, use the file MP75RPcm.exe. After the files are extracted, follow the instructions in the Readme.txt file.

Magellan roadmate 700 no maps found How do i fix this?

Hi,

the road maps for this model are on An SD Card.
If you don,t have the SD Card with the maps on, your roadmate won,t find them.
You can also contact:- Magellan for mapping updates.

I believe they do not supply the roadmaps with this item, which @ $1. 200 is a bit of a rip-off however good and accurate they are.

Hi usama

Look on EBay for one. You might find one on there. You might be able to get away with using a 64mb compact flash card with a pcmcia adaptor as well as a SD card. It can't be any bigger than 64 mbs.

Search under Ricoh memory cards.

They use PCMCIA as well. If you don't have a notebook with pcmcia you will have to get an adapter card for PCI use on a desktop.

Bicu firmware update

You can check on copytechnet.com on how to get it. Heres what I know about it as a copier technician.

Ricoh provides the firmware upgrades to their technicians. The firmware has to be decrypted using a special program the runs about $300 from a company in Germany. Its a proprietary archive file that gets decrypted and put onto a pcmcia memory card. You can find them on EBAY. It has to be 64mb in order for the copier to read it. I tried using a compact flash memory card connected to a pcmcia card and I didn't have any luck using it. The utlility program can lock up the notebook computer as well if it isn't setup right. You can get a pcmcia card reader for a workstation as well. Ricoh used to make those for that particular reason.

What version is it at right now?

Wat is toshiba flash card

"FLASH" generally denotes a compact storage device called
Compact Flash Card. I have an old digital camera that takes compact flash cards.

Newer Toshiba Laptops and Towers have multi card readers installed, my laptop has a SD card reader under my PCMCIA card slot. I also had a (Made for Toshiba) compact flash adapter. That device was nice because it wasn't "Card Bus" it used 8-16 bit technology making it easy to transfer data from a laptop running windows 3.1 to a laptop running Vista

Acer aspire 7004 flash card slot

Your computer doesn't support compact flash cards. Your SD slot is a 5-in-1 card reader, supporting Secure Digital (SD), MultiMediaCard (MMC), Memory Stick® (MS), Memory Stick PRO? (MS PRO), xD-Picture Card? (xD). The big slot is for PCMCIA devices.

Some errors

Download the ATA PCMCIA/CF-Card update drivers* (file name MP8Pcm.exe) from ftp://ftp.necsam.com/pub/versa/mobilepro/. Click on the link to download. After the files are extracted, follow the installation instructions in Readme.txt. *This module requires 40KB of internal RAM memory. If the MobilePro has been Hard Reset or Main memory has been erased due to main/backup battery low, this module should be re-installed.
