I am trying to get it to run on Windows7. Is this possible?

Download Canon ip5000 driver windows 7. Install the software first before connecting the printer to the PC. DO NOT connect the printer to the PC until adviced to do so during the installation.

Installing Canon PIXMA iP5000

make sure you have the correct driver for your printer. go to the manufactures's website and search the rghtdriver. You must uninstall he previous driver before you reinstall the new driver.

After you hve install the driver to Start menu/printer and fax/add printer
