Reprogramming FE 375:

This link will take you to the page you need, to get started:

http://consumer.schlage.com/Service-Support/Pages/InstructionandManuals.aspx

Then scroll down to this heading on that page:
Electronic Security-Keypad Entry Flex-Lock...
There's a wealth of info under that heading. You will be able to see a PDF file of the original print instructions, as well as a video of how to install the lock. This is useful because there should be a sticker to be found on the backside of the keypad, with the code number that you need to reprogram the lock. This installation video (fourth item down) will be useful to allow you to disassemble it and view the sticker. This is also a great time to change the 9-volt battery!
The ninth item under that same header is a video which walks you through how to reprogram the keypad to your new code, using that program code that you found on the backside of the keypad.

Good luck!

I need to change the batteries and reset the pass code in (2) keyless locks ("Locknetics On Board"). The owner's manuals were never given, and the key (Schlage) override was never used.(No...

How can I program my electronic keypad lock when the instructions with the programming code have been lost?
The back plate of the keypad side of the lock on the exterior of the door has a sticker which includes the serial number, six digit programming code and two pre-programmed four digit user codes. The lock must be disassembled to a point the exterior of the lock can be pulled away from the door and the information on the sticker made note of.
This number is the programming code referenced in the information for changing the entry code.

This link will take you to the page that you need to get started:

http://consumer.schlage.com/Service-Support/Pages/InstructionandManuals.aspx

Then scroll down to this heading on that page:
Electronic Security-Keypad Entry Flex-lock FE595/Keypad Entry Auto-Lock FE575 Documents

There's a wealth of info under that heading. You will be able to see a PDF file of the original print instructions, as well as a video of how to install the lock. This installation video (third item down) will be useful to allow you to disassemble it and view the sticker. This is also a great time to change the 9-volt battery! Batteries should be replace about every three years.
The eighth item under that same header is a video which walks you through how to reprogram the keypad to your new code, using that programming code that you found on the backside of the keypad.
A note about the PDF files: If you cannot view a given file, you need to first install Adobe reader. You can get the free download from here:

Good luck--and please provide feedback if this helps!

I don't have a manual for my 2004 lincoln Avaitor but would like to know how I can change the code on the drives door key pad

KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM With the keyless entry keypad, you can: • lock or unlock the vehicle doors without using the key. Your vehicle has a factory set 5 digit code that operates the keyless entry system. You can also program your own 5 digit personal entry code. The factory-set code is located: • on the owner's wallet card in the glove compartment • or at your dealer. When pressing the controls on the keyless entry keypad, press the middle of the controls to ensure a good activation. This system will disable the power door lock controls. These will not work until the vehicle is disarmed. Programming your own personal entry code To program your own code: 5. Enter factory set code (keypad will illuminate when pressed). 6. Press 1/2 control within five seconds of step 1. 7. Enter your personal 5 digit code. Enter each digit within five seconds of previous one. 8. After the code is entered, the locks will cycle, confirming that the new code has been set. Do not set a code that includes five of the same number or presents them in sequential order. Thieves can easily figure out these types of codes. Your personal code does not replace the permanent code that the dealership gave you. You can use either code to unlock your vehicle. If a second personal code is entered, the module will erase the first personal code in favor of the new code. Locks and Security 149 Locks and Security If you wish to erase your personal code, use the following instructions: 1. Enter factory set code. 2. Press 1/2 control and release. The system will now only respond to the factory set code. Anti-scan feature The anti-scan feature prevents repeated attempts at arriving at a valid key code. The keyless entry pad is disabled for 1 minute after 7 unsuccessful attempts (35 consecutive button presses) at entering a valid key code. The keypad will flash during this 1 minute mode. However, the 7/8 and 9/0 controls will still lock the vehicle. Anti-scan will be turned off after: • one minute of keypad inactivity. • the remote entry transmitter UNLOCK button is pressed. • the ignition is turned to the ON position. Unlocking the doors with the keyless entry system To unlock the driver door, enter either the factory set code or the personal code (each digit must be pressed within five seconds of the prior digit). The interior lamps will also illuminate. To unlock all doors, enter the factory set code or personal code (driver door unlocks) and press the 3/4 control within five seconds. Locking the doors with the keyless entry system It is not necessary to enter the factory or personal code prior to locking all doors. To lock the doors: • with the driver's door closed, press the 7/8 control and the 9/0 control at the same time.

How do i reprogram keyless entry codes

door pad keyless codes?

in owner manual, enter permanent code and then press "1" and enter personal code, then press "1" again. Then both codes will work.

If you don't have manual, go to Motorcraft.com and click on technical resources and click on your year owner manual.

---------------------------------------------
Each vehicle equipped with a keyless entry keypad is programmed with a five-digit entry code. This code is provided to the customer through a wallet card in the Owner Literature package. In addition, this code is available through a diagnostic tool and is also printed on the vehicle security module label. When entering codes each digit must be entered within five seconds of the previous button press.
Programming/Erasing Personal Code
A unique personal five-digit code can be programmed by following these steps:
  1. Enter the factory set five-digit code (the keypad will illuminate when pressed).
  1. Press 1/2 within five seconds of Step 1.
  1. Enter the unique five-digit code.
The personal code does not substitute for the permanent factory set code. Either code can be used to access the vehicle. In addition, if a second personal code is programmed, it will simply overwrite the previous personal code. To erase a personal code, carry out the following procedure:
  1. Enter factory set five-digit code.
  1. Press 1/2 within five seconds of Step 1.
  1. Press 7/8 and 9/0 at the same time within five seconds of Step 2.
The system will now only respond to the factory set code.
Anti-Scan Feature
To provide added security, the keyless entry pad is disabled for one minute after 35 button presses without a valid entry code being entered. The keypad will flash during this one-minute mode with all functionality disabled except for 7/8 and 9/0 still being allowed to lock the vehicle.
Anti-Scan will be turned off after any of the following events:
  • one minute of keypad inactivity
  • the keyless entry remote transmitter UNLOCK button is pressed
  • the ignition is turned to the ON position.
Unlocking the Doors with the Keyless Entry Keypad System
To unlock the driver door, enter either the factory set code or the personal code (each digit must be pressed within five seconds of the prior digit). The interior lamps will illuminate.
To unlock all doors, enter either the factory set code or the personal code (driver door unlocks) and press the 3/4 control within five seconds.
Locking the Doors with the Keyless Entry Keypad System
It is not necessary to enter the factory set or personal code prior to locking all doors. To lock all doors, press the 7/8 and 9/0 controls at the same time.
Inspection and Verification
  1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.
  1. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.
