Turning off ipaq

Probably a stupid question, but here goes. I have a ipaq hx2755, have been using for couple months. I notice that sometimes after I turn it off with switch that after a couple minutes it will come on again. Also when I connect the charger while off, it will come on to the security screen. Sometimes I will hold down the off button for a second and the screen goes dim, but not off until I push the off button quickly. Have found no info on the subject of turning off the ipaq. Just wondering why it comes on by itself?

I noticed the same thing on my IPAQ, and found that if I push the button (somewhat quicly) TWICE that it turns it off completely. Also, you might want to check to see if you have it set up so that it will turn on when you push ANY button (it may not make a difference but I found that when I was putting mine back into the wallet holder I use, I'd inadvertently hit a button and it would turn back on!) :>
