Bluetooth Problems with HX2755

Recently purchased an iPAQ HX2755 which I immediately uploaded the newer firmware... The problem I am havin right now is there is no range to my bluetooth as I have to hold me Bluetoot GPS antenaae right next to the PDA in order to receive the signal and start data transfer.. If I move the GPS Bluetooth antenae 1/2" from the PDA I loose connection... I paired the GPS Bluetooth with my Bluetooth enabled laptop and I get great reception as far as 25'.. What say yea??? Bad PDA?? Wrong new firmware??? Thanks in advance

My HP iPAQ hx2755 Doesn't turn on I don't know if is the charger battery or the iPAQ

If you have a car charger, try it first. If it works - you'll know to replace your home charger. If it doesn't, then you need to replace the battery. Make sure and charge the new battery for 24 hours before using it in your phone for the first time. If it's not the battery, you'll need to send your phone in for service / repair.

Same IPAQ -New Computer

you should just be able to sync it with the new computer. The data from the IPAQ will be synced to the new computer.

Turning off ipaq

I noticed the same thing on my IPAQ, and found that if I push the button (somewhat quicly) TWICE that it turns it off completely. Also, you might want to check to see if you have it set up so that it will turn on when you push ANY button (it may not make a difference but I found that when I was putting mine back into the wallet holder I use, I'd inadvertently hit a button and it would turn back on!) :>

You can turn off HP Protect Tools, or simply configure HP Protect Tools to not encrypt your data.

Connection problem

Have you considered software running in the background on your computer? Usually firewall/anti-virus software can block the connection. If you are running any Norton or McAfee products, it is likely the cause. Try disabling them, or boot into safe mode with networking support and see if the PDA responds from here. Safe mode loads a minimal set of drivers and no startup programs. Goodluck!

Is IPAQ rz1710 bluetooth technology compatible or not ?

The 1710 does not have bluetooth. You would have to buy a SD bluetooth card and then you could connect to the internet via a bluetooth phone if the phone had internet access.
