My wired 360 controller keep on disconnecting and reconnecting

If you have something that uses certain frequencies (microwaves do this A LOT), it can interfere with the signal to the xbox. Another reason that may cause this is something is blocking the Infra red sensor on the xbox itself, make sure you have a clear view from the controller to the 360.

You can try switching out new batteries, both the console and controller off and trying to turn one on and then the other and then try a different order of turning them on if that doesn't work, and if that doesn't work then try (after restarting the console and with the controller initially off) using the calibration button on the console and then holding the calibration button on the controller. If that doesn't work, call xbox support.

Sounds like a broken wire to the controller.
Time to replace it.

I have the same problem. If you have ever dropped it on the ground multiple times then that could be it. That or there may be faulty wiring. I would recommend checking the warranty (if you have it?). Other than that you should buy a new, by new I mean used, off of eBay for possibly dirt cheap.

Re sync the controller to your xbox if it is wireless, if wired disconnect the controller, restart the console and reconnect the controller.

Had to be replaced. It was not fixable

There might be a problem with (a) the wire or (b) the actual controller. I would suggest testing the wire with another controller, if it works you know it's the actual controller that isn't working. If it still doesn't work after changing controller, you know it's the wire.
Another thing it might be is the USB port on your Xbox 360. Try changing it to another one if the other two suggestions don't work.

It sounds like there is a probem with the RF Board (google search it). Problems occur with this from time to time when a sytem is disassembled and reassembled.

you xbox needs cleaning on the inside proberbly the lens try and get a cleaing kit for it
