The screen is black on my 51SWX20B when the power is on. The standby light/power light is red. I opened the back of the television and there is a flashing green light with a clicking sound. I dont know what that light indicates. I wanted to know if anyone had the blueprint/a plan of the circuit boards inside the tv? Or if you knew where I can possibly buy a bulb for this model. I realize its an old model, I've had it for over 7 years and this is the first problem that has happened. Thanks a lot!

The standby lights blinking means that theres an abnormal power of television.Your Television have problem in power supply.The power supply of your TV have incomplete output voltage,maybe theres a shorted or open parts.Its need to troubleshoot and repair by the authorized technician to replace a deffective parts of your television.
If no remote function, unplug set for a minute and plug back in; if not the problem something is wrong in either power supply or sweep circuit of set--
Unplug,replug the tv back about an hour later.Let the tv to get out of it protection mode,might work again.Not,come back give the new problems,help u some more.
You need to open it up and checking the voltages in the power supply sections, you should have 5v (for logic circuits), 12v for sound, 24v for backlight inverter circuits. Look for bad caps with bulging tops in power supply also.
Replace Both of your STK ICs nd 6 resisitors they are big black ICs will have part # on them STK392-110s .

Plasma tvs do not have "back lights" LCDs do. you probably have a bad driver board along with the upper or lower buffer board or maybe both, best to have a tv shop look at it.
