I have a 52" RCA HD Projection TV (serial # D52W26YX1F162C309L).When you push the power button to turn the TV on the light on the power button turns on and off about 5 times before just staying off. You have to go through this sequence 4 or 5 times before the TV actually turns on, then when it is on the screen flashes for about 30 seconds and then the picture comes on and everything is fine. It was like this for about 6 months. We got tired of playing it's game and quit turning it off. Today my 2 year old turned it off. It was only off for about 15 minuets, but now the power button just flashes at me and the TV never actually turns on. I have tried for hours. Is this a common problem or more importantly and easy fix?

Sounds like the power supply capacitors CP150, CP120 and CP114 need replacement. You can get the RCA repair kit by that same name from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the caps and the CD with repair instructions.

Trying installing a new power supply. This is the main problem with tv's with the issue. But if you just bought it I would try to get my money back from where I bought it from. Installing a power supply for a tv is not that hard at all.
