What is the significance of the "U" at the end of the model number? Example: is there a difference from the models GRDVL510 to GRDVL510U?
The "U" at the end of the model number stands for a product designed for sale and use in the United States. There will be some listings that will not show the "U". If this product is for sale in the United States, it is safe to presume that these are the identical products. Note: that any other suffix (such as "E" for example ) on a "Consumer Camera" sold in the United States is considered "Gray Market," and is not covered by regular JVC warranty in the United States.
