Speed in downloads and uploads vary hour by hour, day in ,day out, where, when, traffic, connections, etc., etc., etc., can affect the speed. Many, many things affect internet speed, some you can control , some you can't. It may be the ISP , equipment outside, if ALL your equipment is connected correctly, up-to-date, that's about all you can do. It's almost impossible to point at one problem.

I have a acer laptop that I let my son use and I've noticed that it is very slow and also it gets very hot. What do you think the problem is?

Dear Kristen,
1. Your laptop is running slow because there are too many applications running in the background. Go through the start menu and remove them if you don't need them.
2. Defragment your hard disks. Use a tool such as O & O Defrag Pro.
3. Your Acer heating up is a normal issue. Some older acer laptops heat up quite a lot. This is not an issue in laptops purchased after 1/1/2010.
If you are worried, get your laptop checked and serviced by a qualified technician or just simply hand it over to the nearest service center.

I have a G56-122US Notebook laptop and it is moving real slow and I think I need to delete my cache but don't know how to do that on here. I'm not sure that is the problem. Can you please help speed up my laptop? Thanks

Download a program called CCleaner. It will delete temporary files from your computer and other things as well which will help speed up the computer. You can also try Tuneup Utilities which is another program to optimize your computer. The best and cheapest thing that can be done is to increase the memory. These days it's cheap, unless your computer is really old, and it can almost always give a nice performance boost.
