Tip & How-To about Pioneer DVJX1 Turntable

DVJ-X1 Cue before inserting disk.

The DVJ-X1 has a fun little bug/feature that is often over looked.

For a cd press the track forward/previous to select the track you want to play BEFORE you insert a disk, once you have the disk inserted and it initializes the deck will cue to that track automatically.

With a DVD you need to also select the TITLE as well as the TRACK most of the time with promo only or rock america disks there is only one track for videos so select TITLE 01 first then the appropriate Chapter.

I can only get my mp3 player to play the song for 10 sec???????

Your player is in "intro" that means all the tracks will be played for 10 sec only. This feature can be swithed off:
On the main menu, select the "Settings" item and press the MENU button
to enter the system settings mode.
Press the PREVIOUS/NEXT button to select setting item and press the
MENU button to confirm or press the PLAY/PAUSE button to
cancel/return.
You should find Music then Repeat mode, here you can select another mode then "Intro" for example Once, Repeat Once, Folder...
I hope I could help.
Thanks.

Cd does not play when inserted. We cleaned the lens with a lens cleaner.

The optical lens assembly is damaged at this point. the lens has burned out and the tracking/load motor seems to be faulty as well. replace the optical lens asap.
