Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

Your Sylvania Syneto7526 and Wirless keyboard

You can connect a wireless keyboard to a Sylvania SYNET07526 as well as a wireless mouse. (I suspect that a USB wired Keyboard will work).

If you are having trouble typing on the small keyboard of your net book. You can insert a USB transmitter in the port and use a wireless keyboard. It works also with a wireless mouse. I did not have a wired USB key board to try but I suspect that it would work also.

I cannot get my keyboard or my mouse to work with my dell computer. what can i do?

Please add more information to get specific assistance. Are these wireless devices? If wired, do they use USB or PS/2 connections.

For wireless devices, try replacing the batteries and resynching to the receiver. (You may want to check putting the receiver in different USB ports.)

For wired devices, disconnect and reconnect. For PS/2 devices, you will need to restart the computer to check if the devices work. For USB devices, try connecting to different USB ports.

Next step, try using a different keyboard and mouse (that work on another computer (stick to USB or PS/2 to match the current pair)). Try a wired set if the problem is with a wireless pair. If those work, continue diagnostics on the wireless keyboard and mouse. Check if the mouse and keyboard work on another computer. If they don't work with another computer, replace them.

If another USB keyboard and mouse pair don't work in any port, your USB ports may have failed. Check if even one port works enough to access the Device Manager. (Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager (Win7); similar directions in other versions of Windows) Check for a problem with the drivers (For USB ports, scroll down to the USB drivers and look for a triangle with a yellow exclamation point or red x). Try to update the driver or roll it back. If that doesn't help and one USB port works, a USB hub may solve the problem.

Otherwise if the USB or PS/2 ports do not work with any devices and the driver fix doesn't work, then I'd suspect a problem with the ports on the motherboard. Replace the motherboard/computer.

I hope this helps.

Yes. I would recommend using A simple USB wireless or wired keyboard mouse combo.
Any USB keyboard or mouse should work just fine.

I bought a Sylvania SYNET07526 in CVS and everything was working fine. Yesterday I put a password to login to then I turn it off. Today I turned on the netbook and asks me the password but do not let me write in the space provided to enter the password. How I can fix this? I think the keyboard its not working. Those these netbook has warranty?

Hello, I think you can plug in an external keyboard in one of the usb ports on the side (not the back ones) One is for an external mouse, and one for a keyboard.
If you have an external keyboard with a usb plug on it, try plugging it in and entering your password that way.
Doesn't everything bought new have warranty of some kind?-It does in the UK anyway.
Kind regards,

Hi . .. I want to use this KVM switch to connect

The GCS632U has keyboard and mouse emulation that may not work with all wireless combos. If your wireless combo is going to work the single USB connection would need to go into the keyboard port as that is the only port that will recognize the hot key switching commands. If the wireless combo still has problems then try using a USB wired keyboard to ensure the GCS632U is working correctly.
