TV does not start and lamp light flashes red
Your lamp has gone out. here is a replacement for it,

i would pick the more expensive one as it is from Panasonic and will have way more life then the cheap Phillips replacement.

Panasonic PT-61LCX66 Lamp Timer Reset Models No. PT-52LCX66 / PT-56LCX66 / PT-61LCX66 Models No. PT-52LCX16 / PT-56LCX16 / PT-61LCX16 Here are the steps to reset the Lamp Timer for your Panasonic Multimedia Projection HDTV: Plug your Television in. Press the POWER button on the TV or the remote control. Press and hold the VOL- button on the TV, while holding the 0 button on the remote control for at least 5 seconds. When the reset procedure is complete, a confirmation screen will appear. Release the buttons and the LAMP indicator will go out. The green light blink for a while and then shuts off and the lamp light blinks once red???
The green blinking lamp means that the TV is getting ready to start the lamp, and then one red LAMP blink means the lamp will not start. You may need a new lamp (Part TYLA1001.)

after the notation appearing on the television, how long does the lamp have before it blows out on a PT-52LCX66?
when the notation comes up , you usally only have hours of life left. the slightest **** or movement of the lamp could cause it to go out. I would really start looking for a new one quickly
