i have windows 98 can i download songs to my mp3 trio

The MP3 player uses a USB cable to download music files from the computer. Windows 98 does not support USB port even if the computer has a USB port. If the computer has a USB port then you need to install a Windows 98 USB driver so it can connect with the MP3 player to download mp3 music files.

just loaded flight sim to m/soft vista and have lost the driver disc for sidewinder pricision 2 joystick. Is this unit compatable with vista? If so, can someone direct me to the best free driver download site. grim

Sorry it will not work with vista.

Operating System Requirements: This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:
  • Windows 98
  • Windows 95
Additional Requirements:
  • Windows 95/98
  • Pentium 166 or higher
  • 16MB RAM
  • USB port
  • DirectX 7.0 or later
You can try this also

Usually, Windows will find and automatically install the necessary drivers when you plug your game controller into your computer.
• Plug the game controller into the USB port on the computer. The computer can be turned on when you do this. Windows will recognize the new hardware and set it up to work properly.
Note: Controllers that use game ports (and other ports) are not supported in this version of Windows.
Try this second:

You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps.

1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.‌ If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

2. In Device Manager, locate the device you want to update, and then double-click the device name.

3. Click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver and follow the instructions.

i don't have driver of pen drive in windows 98

Let's check your Windows 98 Version first :)
  • Right click on My Computer and select Properties
  • On the System Properties page that opens up click on the General tab, if it is not already on that page.
  • Under the System heading, look for the version number (see right)
    • Version 4.10.1998 is the original version of Windows 98 (98FE)
    • Version 4.10.2222 is Windows 98 Second Edition (98SE)
  • Click the link below for the download and installation instructions for your version of Windows 98
Fo Windows 98 FE:
  1. Download and install the Windows 98 Service Pack (35.5Mb)
  2. Download to your desktop the driver file from the Download section below
  3. Remove ALL drivers for USB flash drives in Device Manager (Optional)
  4. Remove ALL drivers for any USB 2.0 controllers (many have an uninstall option) (Optional)
  5. Remove ALL unknown devices from Device Manager
  6. Run the exe file you downloaded, and follow the instructions, rebooting after installation
  7. When the computer boots up again, it may detect new USB 2.0 controllers, in which case you may need to reboot again
The drivers can be downloaded from the following link:

Need USB Driver for RCA TH1101A MP3 Player Win98 2nd

RCA once had them, but no longer carries them. You would actually have more problems than you would imagine with Win 98 and mp3 players anyways - no music services will accept Windows 98 anymore. The Windows Media Player 10 software that you would need to transfer songs is not compatible. It would have been rough anyway.
