USE NOTEPAD FILE AS A DIARY

One of what?
A computer? ..Stores and displays text as notepad .TXT files.
Application? ..Depends on app.
Cell phone? ..Some can, some can't. Some can save 'Notes' on phone as TXT and read the TXT file.

You have notepad set as your default text reader. If you have Word installed use that as your default. So go in set up your default programs you can do this by going to setup default programs in the start menu when you get there look for your default programs for .doc files etc and set it to open up using Word or whatever Word program you have other than notepad. It will not harm your computer if you open .doc or .txt files using notepad.

Given methods vary between devices..

The model I have, worked by creating a file called time.txt using say MS Notepad and copying to the "root" of the micro SD disk.

The file contained the current time is this format:-.

2011.03.31 14:42:30 Y

(Meaning date of 31st May 2011 Time 14.42 30 Secs)

This worked perfectly for me....

To REMOVE time stamping you apparently change the "Y" to "N" as follows:-

2011.03.31 14:42:30 N

Other versions of AV Recording Glasses require a similar text file called "timeset.txt" and I think the format required is just the numbers without colons or period punctuation......

do the following
Open Notepad (START>>>RUN>>>type in notepad)
Hit OK
Copy the contents of the CODE box, not including the word "code"
Paste it to the empty Notepad file
In Notepad click FILE>>SAVE AS
Change the Save as Type to All Files.
Name the file as Export.bat

CODE regedit /e Export.txt "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}"
Double click on Export.bat, a text file called Export.txt
should produce on your desktop
Copy>>paste back here the contents of Export.txt
