We were raising Bull Mastiffs dogs. As we were watching the birthing of one of our mastiff, we noticed a long wait in-between deliveries. What should have been 45 minutes to an hour, the hour had passed. We were beginning to get worried so we contacted our vet. He told us to give her a piece of bread with syrup on it with a couple of antiacids ,crushed up. The syrup to give her energy and the antiacids to induce contractions. It worked and we have used it several other times.
