Question posted under water heaters, but no brand or model number is given.
Question asks for product manual. And asks for interpretation of error code.

1) Look on side of water heater for machine information, and then add a comment and include all possible detail for best result, including brand and model number, and approximate age of machine, and whether machine is gas or electric powered.
Adding a comment with specific information will tell expert what answer to give, or expert might not be expert in your product and will suggest that new question be re-posted at fixya for another expert.

2) To find a product manual on your own, Google search model number of machine, and add the specific words to search parameter: instruction .pdf
For example search for: Rheem Pro40NE2 instruction .pdf

Speaking as a member I can say that the reason you may be seeing less than adequate information here is because the people asking for help give incomplete or confusing information as a description of their problem.

I just finished helping someone who gave no Brand and no Model number. Those two pieces of information are crucial and it's almost impossible to help without them.

Nor did he say if he had a bottom freezer refrigerator, top freezer refrigerator or Side by Side refrigerator. He merely mentioned he had water building up inside the freezer and it was starting to leak on the floor.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to help with so little information. If you see a post without a FULL model number taken from the nameplate and the brand there can not be a fully-informed and worthwhile response.

Many Manufacturers cross manufacture under several names and differing model numbers making it impossible to sort out which machine the questioner has without minimal information.

Come with more information and you'll get a more targeted response.

there is no way to tell if its the original motor. but the vin. will tell you what size engine came with the vehicle.your local gm dealer can tell you which numbers and letters mean what. including whether or not it is actually an SS.
