This nearly always happens because an SD card is used that is FAR too BIG for the unit. 1 GB or LESS it says in the manual.

Usually the minimum clearance is listed on the outside of the Wiseco box. You can always call them, they are very good about helping folks.
I will say don't use the stock Harley clearance as a guide, the Wiesco's are forged so need greater clearance and would seize at the stock clearance, Frank
In this laptop the video card is a special format one, it can't be replaced with any other one because no other one in the same format was ever made. But you can always put a larger hard disk - as large as you want and you can afford to buy. Just make sure it's a PATA one - like this one.
Yes, these machines are designed to only function if all inks are present and meet minimum requirements. Not doing so could result in damage to the print head. The large black ink, the 5, is also a pigment based ink and highly prone to clogging. Letting this machine sit for extended periods of time unused can also cause damage, possibly irreparable, to the print head. We typically recommend people using these style machines always keep a back up set of cartridges on hand to avoid issues.
