Tip & How-To about Bosch 24 in. SHE66C05UC Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher

Gasket cleaning: Start by noting where angled ends of thick black gasket sit. Pull gasket out of stainless steel gutter. Soak and scrub with dishsoap in the sink. Start by placing one angled end as noted earlier. Press gasket firmly back into gutter. I am really happy with Bosch for making it easy to clean!

and here is what it states. (different liners used etc)
"CYLINDER HEAD GASKETS
A one piece steel cylinder head gasket is used for
all five cylinder heads.
Cylinder head gaskets are available in three thicknesses.
Identification holes or notches in the right
front corner of the gasket indicate the thickness of
the gasket (Fig. 65).
CAUTION: Piston protrusion must be measured, to
determine cylinder head gasket thickness, if one or
more cylinder wall liners have been replaced.
NOTE: If cylinder wall liners have not been
removed; the same thickness head gasket removed,
may be used.
MEASURING PISTON PROTRUSION
(1) Use special tool VM.1010 with dial indicator
special tool VM.1013 (Fig. 66).
(2) Bring the piston of cylinder no. 1 exactly to top
dead center.
(3) Zero the dial indicator on the cylinder block
mating surface.
(4) Setup the dial indicator on the piston crown
(above the center of the piston pin) 5mm (1/8 in.)
from the edge of the piston and note the measurement
(Fig. 67).
(5) Repeat the procedure with the rest of the cylinders.
(6) Establish the thickness of the steel gasket for
all four cylinder heads on the basis of the greatest
piston protrusion (Fig. 65)

How difficult is it to replace a Door Gasket - True TS-49F Freezer

The old gasket just pulls directly out from its slot in the door. Start about 3" away from a corner, then pull the corner out; the rest is easy. Soak the new gasket in warm water before fitting; it softens the edge and makes it easier to push in.

black (rust colour) stains in the carafe

The fact that is is a stainless steel container makes it highly unlikely that it is rust. You should never drink out of a rust container. I would suggest a highly caustic but non-toxic cleaning agent. I'd start with vinegar or lemon juice. If you can get your hand in there, let it sit for a while and give it a scrub. Steel wool would definitely get the nasty stuff off but may also compromise any type of protective coating so inspect the metal to see if it has any type of coating over it (like an enamel glaze) should be bare stainless though.

Mold issue on front gasket

A solution of bleach and water will do. Just wet the rag and rub it down well. When this is done you may still have the marks but the mold is dead. If you want it to be completely clean you may need to replace.it.
