F7 is showing and every tme we reset it starts off then returns to F7

Hello,

Generally depending on the brand the F7 error code is a FLOW METER problem. Is your dishwasherone of these brands
whirlpool
kenmore
kitchenaid
roper
estate
kirkland (costco)
is it from IKEA

If it is a whirlpool brand its very likely the flow meter that is the problem. This is what the flow meter looks like if it is one of the above brands

Will not agitate or spin

On Whirlpool brand made machines the drive coupler between the motor and the transmission is probably stripped out or broken and needs to be replaced.

Keep in mind that Whirlpool also manufactures: Estate, Roper, Kitchen Aid, some Kirkland and some Kenmore washers. All have the same coupler that gets stressed and breaks. A cause for this often times is overloading the machine.

After inspecting and finding the problem, make sure you have the model number and call your local appliance parts store or repair center and they probably have your part in stock.

Repairing a stripped out coupler is pretty easy for the doit yourselfer.

I suggest watching this video before attempting the repair:
