West Bend 82306 Stir Crazy® Popcorn Maker - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I'm using the West Bend
Try contacting West Bend about this, but do not be surprised if you results are less than satisfactory.
I purchased the stir crazy model 82306 and it does
I have one of these poppers and have been impressed with the minimal number of unpopped kernels.
On only one occassion have I not been satisfied and suspect it was due to insufficient oil being added.
Make sure you are adding sufficient oil to aid heat transfer to the kernels.
Is there a safe glue
expoxy is the best choice but if the bowl is broken, crazy glue might be better. I could use a better idea of how its broken to give you a better answer
My motor seems to be broken-- it will not turn.
it could be a bad motor or it could just be a bad wire connection or switch or a bad AC plug. you can take the unit apart and test the switch, wires and motor with a volt meter,, or take it to a repair shop ( small appliance repair shop ) and have them fix it,, BUT since the unit new is not that much money - I would just maybe think about replacing it with a new one. take it apart and have a look -- it might just be something very simple and for a few dollars you might be able to fix it.
