We had the same issue -- the name could be reset, but not the pin could not.
Finally, I realzed that when it is reset by using the reset button or the batteries, the PIN is reset to the factory default of 1234. Don't try using your old pin at this point -- enter 1234 as the pin.
Once you have the bank working again, theoretically you can reset your pin to whatever you like by hitting enter twice. I say theoretically because we're sticking with the factory default for now.

Cannot open mail.com email ?
I have had the same problem for about a week...
So, I decided to double-check my settings for my email account.
I opted to have a preview window at all times, and then I opted to always read and write messages in a new window. [Saved changes]
Bingo! I am now able to use my email again.

I suggest the first thing - and probably the only safest to do is to call your bank...preferrably go there in person and tell your problem to the customer service section. They will respond ASAP depending on your bank and its quality of services

Summit Toys money jar - can't get top off - won't
I would try a rubber jar lid remover....if that doesn't work, try whacking it on the bottom a couple of times, not too hard, don't want to break it. The whack on the bottom works for jars that are sealed, not sure it will work for a bank.
I bought on of those banks for my Grandson, he likes to take it apart to see what makes it work more than putting his money into it. Go figure!

WE have the same problem. Same bank. I finally recognized the flower on the front from the now out-of-business Limited Too. But I can't find our manual and can't reset the p/w. Help?

Remove the batteries and it will reset to 1234
Once the screen displays "withdrawal" "deposit" press the enter key twice. The red light should blink each time pressed. Then put in your new code and press enter.
