YEA!!! I have a Samsung refrigerator model number "rs263tdbp/xaa." I fixed the beeping on my refrigerator out of sheer desperation and the total annoyance of it. Mine beeped 11 times which I learned was the door issue. But even with 1. No door open, 2. magnets out, 3. two wires cut.... it was still beeping and it was so I annoying. I asked the guy at the place I purchased the refrigerator and he said it has a door alarm and if I could find someone to silence the alarm by poking it with something or taking it apart then the fridge would still work. I am the someone in my house. I pin pointed the sound to the back panel. I took off the back panel and placed my ear close to the noise. When I got to this certain part it make my ear ring inside. I believed that to be the alarm. I was like I am either buying a new refrigerator or this noise is about to stop. I pulled the thing out, WITH THE POWER OFF OF COURSE. When I plugged it back in the beeping had stopped and the refrigerator works perfectly. I can only describe this to you because I am not certified in any way. I just stopped my noise on my refrigerator. If you have a different model number yours may be different.If you take off the back cover (which there is a warning against!!!) Anyway... if you take off the back cover you will see two different boards with a lot of electrical stuff on it. It is the control boards. The top one is green and small. The bottom one is light brown, larger and also has a lot more things on it. The alarm is easy to find (to me) If you face the control panels and look at the bottom panel... the light brown larger one. In the middle of the panel board is a hole. Sticking through the hole is a white or beige plastic part of the control panel housing. It is probably about 2 inches long. To the left of this plastic piece sticking out are three very small black pieces lined horizontally. Under the three black pieces is the alarm. I pulled it out with pliers. This black piece is oval with one flat side. The flat side is closest to the control panel. When I pulled it out, I was like "either no sound or no refrigerator" I plugged it back in and the compressor came on. I was happy about that. I put a tray of water in the freezer and a can of soda in the fridge. The next morning I checked and the water was ice and the soda was cold and refreshing. My refrigerator works perfectly now, without the 11 beeps. I am not certified and I am not responsible if you try this and yours does not work. Good luck.

The problem with the freezer is likely a failed circulation fan, a failed defrost timer, or a failed defrost element. The evaporator coils will be a solid lump of ice which is preventing the flow of chilled air. My GE Fridge is 20 years old and has had one defrost timer fitted in all that time!

so calling for service is not in the plan? well , the defrosted parts can be bad. hear the motor running below? a tech looks for ICE (at ) the Evap core, if packed up defrost is dead. if not then make sure the compressor has power and runs and compressor housing overheated. ll this takes tools and skills you lack. no real model told , so answers are generic. all fans dead? seem AC power is there, brain LCD E error.

There could be ice that has build up on the evaporator coils.or the evaporator coils. needs to be replaced.

Most likely the thermostat in the fridge, especially if it read 5 degrees until you reset it. Possibly the compressor in the fridge side as this fridge has twin cooling, or the circulating fan in the back of the fridge is frozen, which is a common problem as well.
Easiest things to try is to see if the fan is frozen and check if the fridge cooling is actually working. Turn off the fridge, remove the shelves, remove the 4 screws that hold in the bottom cover and the 2 screws that hold the water tank in. Cover should then come out a few inches. Reach behind and unplug the 2 plugs and pull out the cover. If the cover doesnt come out easily it may be glued to the back of the fridge by ice. Leave for a couple of hours and gently prize it off. Check for ice around the fan and that the fan spins freely. You could try sitting the cover inside the fridge, plug it in turn it back on for a few minutes (be careful) and then open the door and quickly look / listen to see if the fan is still spinning (it stops when you open the door). Leave the fridge off for a while until the ice disappears off the coils. Turn back on for half an hour. The coils should be icy again. Anything else call Samsung. If the deal in your country is the same as mine the fridge has a 2 year warranty but in the fine print the sealed compressor unit has five years on parts only. You could get the unit replaced for labour costs only. Check your warranty card.

This is caused by a blocked defrost drain. The cold air for the fridge is vented from the evaporator behind the freezer. Once every 24 hours the defrost timer, stops the compressor and applies power to a heater at the freezer evaporator coils. The defrosted water drips and runs to a drain normally into a metal tray on the compressor where it evaporates. On my GE fridge freezer there is a hose and a small p-trap at the rear. Check your owners manual for the code. You are seeing a default code and not a temp.

Could be temperature control failure or low Freon charge

The switch could need to be replaced for your fridge and it could be a bad switch.
