ok i hit the rest button on the back of the machine and it erased all my memory off of it so i had to reprogram it .If u put 1234 in as a pin # it will open then press balance and hit enter and u can change your pin # there .

Hi abbeybath,

We have the same atm/bank for our son. Here's the fix:
1 - push the reset button on the back of the ATM near the battery compartment.
2 - insert the ATM card and press the BALANCE button to change the user name (need to do this before getting to the pin)
3 - enter your childs name and push enter when complete. Cancel will delete an incorrect letter.
4- enter the default pin (1234) - this will bring up the DEPOSIT, WITHDRAWL, BALANCE screen.
5 - Press ENTER and it will show the current/default pin. Input the new pin number you desire and press ENTER again.

hi, the problem you are having is going to be with the connection from screen to the board the reason it points towards the screen being at fault is due to the fact that you can still hear the sounds of the camera working so this then points towards the fault being only with the connection to the screen.

The problem you have is that you wont find anybody who repairs these due to the price of them costing so low and as you have only had it recently then your best bet would be to take it back and then the shop will exchange it for you.

Even if you dont have a reciept just take it back to any shop that sells them and tell them you only brought it over a week ago and then they will exchange it for you, you dont need a reciept to do a strait exchange so you should have no problems doing this.

Just find a shop that sells them and take it to their shop and tell them you only just brought it but cant find the reciept they wont give you a cash refund but they will give you an exchange or store vouchers any store will exchange this so doing this should solve your problem.

Im sorry their is no easy fix for your problem but it is a case of either faulty parts or bad build quality so exchange should get you a good working one.

These cameras are designed to take falls and bangs so the chance of it being dropped causing the damage is pretty slim so its going to be either faulty screen or not built properly both of these reasons are not your fault so unless the case has been damaged you will get a exchange for one thats working.

remove the flat battery in the middle of the camera and the memory will reset itself, but you will lose your pictures, then after 10 minutes replace the flat battery and everything will be back to normal. if the flat battery is death change it for a fresh one.

I downloaded current drivers and camera seems to work properly now. The drivers on the disk may have issues. Also, I carefully followed the users manual in terms of when to plug in USB and when to push buttons. Something finally clicked.

If your having issues,remove all the batteries and reinstall them.This clears and resets the camera.When deleting pictures do no do it with the computer,do it by the camera.

Uninstall all old pc cam,mars software and do a fresh installation. Restart computer.Before plugging in usb cable,push the shutter button down and hold it.Shutter is the button that takes the pictures. Now plug in usb cable. Camera should say pc cam and installation of software should start and complete. If asked about newer reference files answer yes. Software should now be installed. To use as pc cam,Dbl Click pc cam,mars icon on the desktop.New screen will appear.click on right facing triangle and another screen will open. Camera will now show on monitor what it is aimed at.To shut off,close all screens,and click on icon tray and shut usb device if necessary. To use as camera and view pictures,connect usb cable without pushing any buttons,and camera will say usb,Dbl click my computer,dbl click removable disk D,E F whichever it has been assigned,dbl click DCIM folder,and there are your pics to do waht you want with,save,print etc.Do not delete pics using the computer,delete only by camera so you do not damage files necessary to store and take pictures.If you do camera may have to be reformatted.Disconnect from pc same way by clicking usb icon in tray and stopping device,then its safe to unplug cable.
