press the set/check code and they should tell you what your codes are, but the default code could be 1 2 3

The model number should appear on the base of the phone and you can remove the old battery to see the type to replace it with.

I have a casio/phonemate TA 140 answering machine but no owners/user manual. Where can I download a copy?

Look on the underside of the unit. You will see a three (3) digit number. When you remotely call your number and the answering maching picks up, immediately input the 3 digit number. The answering maching will then play the new messages for you.

GO INTO MENU AND SET YOU PHONE ON HOW YOU WANT TO MAKE AND RECEIVE YOUR CALLS.

YOU MAY HAVE YOUR PHONE SET ON HEARING IMPAIRED OR YOUR BLUETOOTH MAY BE ACTIVATED AND THIS WILL MAKE YOUR CALLS BE HEARD ON SPEAKER. YOU WILL NEED TO UNCHECK THESE SETTINGS.
