Unlock doors
Push and hold f button for 8-10 seconds until amber light is on solid
Push Remote start button for about 4 seconds till amber light flashes 3 times
Put key in to IGN position
Push valet (black button) one time and release
Push and hold valet button
Push either lock or unlock on viper remote
Key out of IGN
Test unit
The horn or siren may sound afterwards to indicate SUCCESS!!!!!!

The first problem is, you went to bestbuy. The second issue is the remote should not lose the pairing because the battery was removed. Your remote is probably defective.

The problem isnt with the alarm, it is probably with the tech that installed it. If the doors all unlock after pressing the unlock but many times in a row then that means that the tech has to program double pulse unlock in the features menu. If it still only unlocks one door then he must have gone to the wrong wire for the doorlocks.

It's possible that the parking kight wire is no longer connected or, the (alarm's) fuse for the parking is blown. The parking light fuse for the 5701 is located behind the door on the alarm module.

I got the manual around here somewhere, It should be on the function Key either if you click it one or two times. I can look up in the manual if you do not have a manual yourself. Mathias

if the light dosent turn off when you turn the key on it means it is not reading the ignition wire check them. without the ignition you cant program the remote

ususally this happens when the alarm dosent read the door being open, if the alarm dosent read that the door is open you should be grounding out the door trigger (green wire in most alarms) and repeat steps to deactivate the alarm

you have to program the remote. check the manual on how to do it

open the door, turn the key on, press valet switch one time and press it again and hold it until alarm beeps if it dosent beep it means that alarm hasn't read the door open if it beeps press lock on the remote and it should beep again and its will be set. Hello Lacey, The only way to program an additionally remote on one of there systems is with a valet button. I would recomend that you contact a local install shop like Best Buy that works with DEI products. They likley will be able to program the remote for you.

You cut the speaker wires and your car won't start??? Sounds like you cut more than the speaker wires.

Disarm it first

They probably don't do anything. They could be programmed to pop the trunk or roll the windows down or something but not always used.
