Check to see if when the alarm goes off if the interior lights are lit. Ford's have a problem at times with the door pinswitch in the door latch leaving the interior lights on, or coming on unexpectedly. Is this a factory installed alarm? WD40 sprayed into the latch will sometimes fix this problem.

james i have had the same problem on a transit an trace the problem in the wiring to the rear right door where the wirin goes through the plastic slider between the door and the vehcle i had to cut out the damaged wiring and run new and solder up make sure the wires you put in are long enough too so you can open the door all the way , failing this think logically which is the door opened and closed the most ,ther might be your prob in the wiring between the door and vehcle

This must be the turbo version.
The epic pump was fly by wire and suffered from water getting into the plug on the back of the pump.
Try removing the plug and check. If wet dry out and try.

Also the throttle pedal potentiometer used to fail, so the engine would only tickover and not rev up.

have you disconected the battery for half hour or so this oftern resets the lock code but you normally only have 3 chances before it locks out again.

yes, the sensitivity can be adjusted. is it a factory alarm or did you have it put in? Ford's have a tendency to cross wiring causing alarm to go off every hr or every 2hrs it will be consistent. next time time it.

When you use the manual lock switch on the vehicle you should see and hear the locks pick. When you use your remote you should also see the same results. If the drivers door does not respond with either you have a bad solenoid on the drivers door.

I am afraid on this model has to go to dealer to be reprogrammed.

The engine in this model doesnt need glow plugs, Its direct injection. If the van is not starting then it will be fir another reason. Ok, can you get a 17mm spanner and loosen the pipes onto the fuel injectors. Crank engine and see if there is fuel coming out. If not just crank it for a few minutes and see if some appears. If fuel appears, tighten pipes and crank for little while longer, see if it goes. If this doesnt work, i have a few more things to try.

Look for purple wire in the ignition harness, it will be cut going to a relay and then back to the opposite side of the purple wire, cut this out and connect purple to purple... it will start every time now (provideing this was the propblem)

i think this mite work 4 u

get in your car and put key in ignition turn 1 turn then wait approx 15 20 secs for light in clock to go red then take key out light should stay lit, next get out of your car close door then lock it and open it, when u open car light in clock should flash 3 times, next get out of car hold lock button on your remote down and push open button 3 times (keeping lock button down and remote pointed at reciver) next lose go of both buttons and red light on key should flash 3 times at the same time as clock inside the car.
next get in your car with key! then start her up and turn off get out of car close door and push button to lock (it should lock) if not get back in start her up again and turn off, then push the door locks inside the car then open get out and your car will lock this time!!!!!!!

post model number and chassis number of radio ,you will have to remove the radio to view the chassis number

They remote is for the immobiliser system. Immobilisers are designed to be VERY difficult to bypass otherwise why fit them? Your simplest solution here is to go to a car key specialist and get a new remote. Once the old one fails the car will not start at all.
