Your problem is most likely the central locking / alram switch fitted aroun the door lock inside the door void. Try using the passenger door to lock / unlock. If this stops the alarm triggering then you need to replace the switch behind the lock in the drivers door.

Apparently, this is the type of bypass where you have to cut a wire at the immobilizer plug at the ignition switch, usually the PATS ignition wire. If the immobilizer is malfunctioning and you cannot start your vehicle, even with the key, You will have to remove the steering column shroud and /or dash and reconnect the wire that was cut.
Have a Ford transponder2 in a Nissan Xterra when I
So, this is a transponder key box, correct? And, the vehicle starts with the remote starter when you put the key in the ignition but, the vehicle will not start when you put the key in the key box, correct? If what I have explained above is the issue, there could be one of several problems. The key box may not be getting power and/or ground when running. Test to make sure. Next, the antenna ring going to the ignition cylinder may need to be adjusted to insure that the signal is being received by the vehicle. Next, if the vehicle starts with key in the ignition; also test that the remote starter works with the placed by the ignition cylinder (without being placed in the ignition). If the remote starter starts with the key IN the ignition but not with the key being placed BY the ignition cylinder, you may need to activate the key sense wire during remote start.
I had to change the steering column in my 96
You have to apply a negative pulse to the wire DARK GREEN/PURPLE located at the Low Drivers Kick Panel. Get a piece of wire and hook one end at ground and the other side just touch the dark green/Purple wire (you must cut just a little bit the wire shell until it shows the copper wire) DO NOT CUT THIS WIRE, JUST PEEL IT. once you apply a ground pulse to this wire the alarm will disarm and you ready to turn the engine ON but after you turn the engine off again the alarm becomes ON, so if you like to keep disarmed leave the ground wire connected to the Dark Green/Purple wire and when you fix the problem just disconnect this wire and you back again at the start point.
LOW DRIVERS KICK PANEL is where you put your foot at the left side against the wall
P1451
Technical Description:
EVAP Control System Canister Vent Solenoid Circuit Malfunction
The EVAP system monitors the canister vent (CV) solenoid circuit for an electrical failure.
The test fails when the signal moves outside the minimum or maximum allowable calibrated parameters for a specified canister vent duty cycle by PCM command.
Symptoms: You will likely not notice any drivability problems.
Causes: A code P1451 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
*VPWR circuit open
*Damaged canister vent solenoid
*Canister vent solenoid circuit open or shorted to ground, power, etc.
*Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
*Possible SolutionsVerify canister vent solenoid - To verify normal functioning, monitor the EVAP canister vent solenoid signal PID EVAPCV and the signal voltage
(PCM control side). With the valve open, EVAPCV indicates 0% duty cycle and a voltage approximately equal to battery voltage.
When the valve is commanded fully closed, EVAPCV indicates 100% duty cycle, and a minimum voltage drop of 4 volts is normal.
Output test mode may be used to switch output on/off to verify function.
*Replace canister vent solenoid

Hi,
You can get this code from the dealer but they will charge you between £20 to £35 for doing this.
I can confidently recommend this site that does these codes for £3.50. They specialise in Ford radios only. Cheap, quick and always reliable. I've used it myself on several occassions.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using FixYa.
