All you can do, for now, is to remove the battery, from the remote. This will at least allow for Non-remote operation. If that doesn't work, then the receiver is faulty, and you will have to bypass the unit, until it is repaired. Then you need to troubleshoot, your problem. Then you need to check, the button(s) aren't stuck, or some sort of contamination under the rubber buttons, and the switch "Fingers" on the board. They often get dirty and false trigger. Reset the master unit in the car, then code them again, and try it again. If it still will not work, then you will have to get it looked at by a professional, most likely you will need a new remote? But sometimes the receiver gets a spike from the cars power, and this causes it to go faulty.

That is a function of the security system. Are you sure you want remote start without locking the doors? I don't believe you can change the programming of that function but the user manual for your alarm should explain how if it can by done.

You should just take it back to who ever hooked it up and tell them that it doesn't work anymore, they should get it working again for free

if you call your local saturn dealer and give them the FCC # on the back of the remote they will be able to tell you if you can use that remote for your new car

No this does not sound like a programming issue, disconect the ground when running wire going to the bypass module and start your jeep with your key, if it continues to run you either have a faulty bypass module or the remote starter unit it sending a ground the whole time, which would keep it on and give the jeep 2 transponder signals when you attemp to start it with the key

there is no manual for this remote you have to look under your dash and get the model number off of the actual unit the go to www.crimestopper.com and go to the support tab and then manuals and manuals again and look for the number you got from under your dash i got this info from the tech support of crime stopper which is also on the page

it sounds like it needs to be reprogrammed for that feature

there is a black or black with white wire, behind the drivers kick panel, there should be a relay hooked upto this wire, unplug the relay this way the rear hatch will not open when remote starting, but will not open with your crimestopper remote either

try programing the remote again by going to www.crimestopper.com and to the support tab choosing manuals and manuals again with the model number from the unit under your dash find the manual for that model for any other question you can contact their tech support at 800.998.6880 ext 210
