20 Most Recent Life Fitness Lifecycle GX Indoor Cycle Questions & Answers

Hi Abraham.

What I'm finding in the way of manuals isn't more specific than that the system uses 2 'D' size batteries, which should last about 800 hours. A review here
Lifecycle GX Review Spin Bike Reviews Indoors Fitness (about 2/3 way down the page) mentions that the batteries are in the console and easy to replace. I'd look for a battery door, likely secured with a small phillips head screw, and large enough to accommodate D Cells. It also mentions that there is a low-battery warning at the top of the console.

Hoping this narrows it down for you.
D

Replacement Parts for Fitness Exercise Equipment at SPORTSMITH

This is common for a bad display board. The only resolution to this problem is to replace your display electronics or the console as a whole.

Most likely a dead battery, you could also check and make sure that that the sensor for the flywheel is in tact

You'll have to open up the battery assembly compartment on the user lower left side and replace your old batteries.

The LifeCycle GX power requirements are

• Battery: 2 D-Cell batteries
• Approximate Battery life: 800hrs

You are powering the display while you bike, it has an auto dim feature to conserve electricity for the LED display that displays all your stats like time spent biking, calories burned, etc. There probably really is not a way to keep the light on.

Likely the excitation to the alternator in this recumbent bike has dropped out, but there may be other causes.
