Rockford Fosgate Prime R500-1 Subwoofer Amplifier - Page 3 Questions & Answers
I have two 12" kenwood KFC-W3003 (svc) 4 ohm 600
It can't be done unless you choose to include some power resistors in your circuit for impedance matching. The problem with that would be some of your power will be lost in the form of heat across the resistors without the benefit of contributing any sound.
Also, the amplifier's damping factor will be compromised, so you may notice a loss in sound clarity. It's possible that you might not easily tell with subwoofers, depending on the enclosures they're mounted in, and whether they're isolated in a trunk vs being in the same airspace with you (hatchback, SUV, or pickup truck). Head unit beeps in my boat.
It is a low voltage warning beep. They will beep even with the slightest voltage dip. Very annoying. You may be able to go into the set up menu and turn it off or lower the volume of the beep.
Where is the fuse located on my p500 2 rockford fosgate amp
Internal or external? Those are protected externally as close to the battery as possible. Check the wire size and color at the amp and then go look for it at the battery under the hood. You should be able to see the installers additions. Inside the unit is another matter.
Bridging two12" subs and one 15" sub to my Rockford fosgate T 1500bd amp
assuming all 3 subs are 3-4 ohms, running all 3 in parallel (the 3 positive leads all attach to the amp positive terminal, and all 3 speaker negative leads connect to the amp negative terminal) will bring you at or above 1 ohm, which the amp is capable of handling. With 1500 watts, you will want to use 8 gague power leads for the amp, 12 gague speaker cables, and an inline 120 amp fuse between the amp and the battery, within 1 foot of the battery.
