You apparently have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

If I'm not mistaking, you need a NEC PBX to work with that phone. In which case you need to contact your telecom helpdesk to find out what the voicemail phone number is so you can set that up.I could be wrong about the phone

dial 300 and that will take you into the voicemail setup and programming

I found that pressing Feature -> 99 -> Feature cleared it up. The Do Not Disturb option does not work either with what the owner's manual states, or the company's Website, to either activate it or deactivate.

Feature 1 and the light above MIC should be on (red)
