How can you take phone calls for fixya?

Hi 03mazda6, welcome to Fixya! Glad to hear that you're interested in providing Premium Phone Support. In order to apply to provide Phone Support, you must first earn at least one Category Expert Badge. You do that by answering at least 50 free, unsolved problems in a given category, receiving at least 5 ratings on those solutions, and maintaining at least an 80% average asker rating on those solutions. There's a module on the right of your Answer Questions page that will help you track your progress towards new Badges. Category Expert Badges you've earned will appear at the top of that module, as well as on the left of your My Profile page. Once you have earned a Category Expertise Badge, you will be able to apply to provide Phone Support via the banner advertising it on your Answer Questions page. You will need a US phone number to apply. FixYa is currently doing a major overhaul on Phone Support, to introduce some key features our Experts requested. While we're working on these changes, we will not be doing Phone Support interviews or approving new Experts. However, as soon as the changes are complete, hopefully within the month, we will immediately start approving new Experts for the system. once you are logged in click My Expertise and on right-hand side you should see My Status and at bottom of that box is a Search Unsolved Problems box

How to upload manual on fixya web site

Hi Scott, In many different locations throughout the Fixya website, there is a manual section placed on the pages. You can drag and drop from your computer or click the button to upload a manual. The section looks like: 6d96251b-62a5-4e38-bf49-7034b19a7375.png If you need help uploading a manual for a specific product, leave a comment and I will be more than happy to help you find the correct location to upload. To change your profile picture please do the following: 1. Sign in to your Fixya account 2. Click your Avatar on the top right and select "My Account" 3. Click on "My Settings" tab 4. Select one of the images presented or upload your own photo by clicking "Upload" 5. Scroll down and click "Save My Information"

How to change password on this sight?

It is very simple just LOG OUT from your fixya service account, then goto https://www.fixya.com/ssl/signin30.aspx AND click on forgot password. U wil get a link for resetting/changing your password on your email account, and by using that link you can change your password.

Most questions have poor spelling and some do not make perfect sense about their question asked. Those I just pass on by for no perfect meaning has been established

Its actually pretty simple. Check your account page to sign up to become an expert. After you prove your quality of work you can apply to get paid for it. I've only just started, but helping people is always a nice thing to do, getting paid makes it even better!

How are answered ranked? I see that some answers

Hi fixyamaster,The solutions that receive the most Thumbs Up are usually at the top. However, since the asker's vote is weighted proportionally higher in the displayed rating, a question that has actually received many Thumbs Ups from other users will have a lower displayed rating if the asker gave it a low vote. How do i apply for fixya premium expert ?

Please be advised that FixYa suspended the all Premium Services some time ago as we feel we can provide our Users with the best service via the FREE forum. Therefore, in the meantime, it is no longer an option to offer paid services on FixYa.
