Where is the water filter located?

The filter is in the refrigerator section in the space behind the vegetable bin. Thus pull the bin out to change your filter. Then remove the cap by rotating it counter-clockwise. Remove the old filter (turn 90 degrees counter-clockwise and then pull out) and then take the protective cap off your new filter. Slide the new filter into the housing and then rotate clockwise 90 degrees. The alignment marks should indicate the filter is locked into place. Then replace the cap. Remember to run water through the dispenser for several minutes to clear the lines.

I hope this helps.

(I don't have a manual for the RS2630WW; however, the Samsung RS2630SW should have the filter in the same place.)

My ice maker stops working

Hi! LOoks pretty much a compressor problem. The compressor may not be working properly that's why when it's hot outside the inside is affected. Im pretty sure that when the compressor is fine the internal won't be affected no matter how hot it is outside. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

The fan made some bad

Yes. Usually the motor does not come with the fan blade. You should unplug it until you replace the fan motor or set up a portable fan to blow on the compressor and coils.

My ice maker stopped making

The ice maker inside the refrigerator needs to be replaced because the thermostat in the ice maker itself never makes so the ice maker always thinks it has water in it acording to the thermostat so it never attempts to dump or refill.

Fridge is leaking water and

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
Actually the leaking water is from the evaporator coil unit.... Under normal conditions,Self-defrost refrigerators usually dispose the water generated during the defrost cycle through a tube or channel that directs the water a pan (Known as Drip pan), commonly below/beneath the unit....
The channel or tube is clogged and the water is leaking to the refrigerator unit, so you need to clear that contamination.... Now the second part is the noise. The self defrost refrigerators contains a circulating fan to move air through the freezer and refrigerator compartments. The unit is located on the back wall half way up or near the top. You need to check that unit. If the sound is coming from outside/ back, you need to locate the component manually by observing the sound/ behavior. It might be the compressor, condenser fan or the defrost timer. If there is a rattling sound from the lower part, check for the loose component affixed with the unit and tighten it if required or balance the foot rests of the unit. And the last part, its feeling like getting over heated. That is a bit precise/detailed area to troubleshoot. The burning smell is due to any short component or any component current over loading... This could be from the main CU or other electrical parts. Check for above quoted possibilities... If the problem still persists the unit might needs to be inspection-ed by proper expert with precise tools....
This is all you need to know in order to trouble shoot the problem.

Best of Luck,

Please do Rate the solution, if you feel that this helps you,

Refrigerator is no longer cold. Freezer is the

The fault seems very much as the auto defrost of your fridge is not working fine. If you switch off your fridge for about 8 hours and switch back after all the cooling coils have cleared, your fridge must work fine. If so we have a confirmation of either the timer is faulty, the thermostat is faulty , the heater is fautly. Even if some one has tamepred and got the timer to be connected wrongly this can happen. So your will have to check each of these parts for failure or malfunction. the timer cane be tested out, the circuit to thermostat and heater can be checked. One the fridge is swtiched off for some time and put back, then it works well for few days till the coild get clogged again. So these areas must be checked and cleared. Helpful? Good day

Hi. Try to defrost first the fridge just to make sure that everything is in good place. Remove the ice holder and install it again. maybe a few times if you have to. If your water dispenser is working your water supply is good. You may also have to wait a day to get it to work right the ice maker will not fill until the temp of the freezer gets down. Also make sure the full bin arm is down. hope this helps.
