Hi I need help with my RSA1DTPE Samsung side by side refrigerator. I dismantled the ice maker for cleaning and cant remember how to re-assemble it. I have web searched the internet for a diagram but I cant seem to find anything. Anyone out there that can help or link me to some drawing that can show me how to put this thing back together? Thank you in advance.

I have a similar Samsung side by side refrigerator and last year had the same problem. i.e. the fridge side ices up. In our case this eventually led to the circulation fan to stop working and the temperature to rise, all food spoiled. This was caused by the defrosting heating element failing due to a faulty sensor within that component.Samsung are very aware of this issue and direct contact with their customer services resulted in an engineer's visit and a free of charge repair. We also were given a voucher for the loss of food caused by the failure of the fridge.

Ome cause might be water from the ice maker is over flowing caused by 2 problems: 1 it could be a wrong calculation of water from your ice maker electronic board or 2 water solenoid to your ice maker is leaking .

Sounds like you fan at the back. Mine is doing that at time for I've been having trouble with a drain valve plug and putting pressure on the whoe unit as well as the floor :(

might be a sign of a defrost problem OR somebody may not have closed the door all the way. Unplug it and wait till tomorrow and plug it back in. If it starts making a noise right away I say fan motor if it makes noise after a couple weeks probably defrost problema. You will need to check the drain line in the back of the freezer for blockage.

I have the same fridge its the sensors there hidden behind the back panel. there are 2. one at top and one at bottom. one of them will faulty. there cheap to buy and easy to fit.

The only thing I can think of on the outside of a model RS2630SH would be the condenser fan blade rubbing against the fan housing below the refrigerator. The other part would be the start relay and overload inside the cover on the side of the compressor but there should be no squealing coming from that area. Either way this is very important that you pull the refrigerator out and unplug so someone can safely examine areas like control board area to see what is going on with the back cover or front kick plate off as to see what is happening before more property damage can occur, Thanks Sea Breeze

Manually defrost the evaporator and clean the defrost condensate below each evaporator. If that drain becomes blocked it will cause these problems to happen because when water has nowhere to go the water will freeze on the evaporator. I have seen these symptoms in many Samsung RS2630SH models. Let me know what you find, Thanks Sea Breeze

Do you see any ice buildup inside the freezer? Look on the back panel

A sensor is trelling you that it is too warm in the frig...various things could be wrong...a fan motor condenser or evaporator is bad make sure both are running....or you have a defrost problem.....check the back panel in the freezer....If there is a frost build up then its a defrost problem.....which needs to be checked out and fixed....

The letters "OF" on the display of your unit indicates the Cooling Off mode has been activated. To cancel this mode, press the Power Freeze and Freezer buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until a chime sounds and a numeric reading returns to the display, allowing you to set the desired temperature. The compressor should turn on in about 5 minutes and begin producing cold air.

Check to be sure that you don't have the freezer temp. set to low.

If this is the duel evap, Bad design, the heater and evap all one part . But you can remove the heater from the assembly very carefully
