Xerox phaser 6500 will not recognize the magenta

Magenta toner(s) not being recognized, I looked into the little slot on printer where chip slides in and found one of the four contacts was bent up out of position. Rather than risk further damage by poking it in such a confined space I am going to remove the part first.

My XEROX 6180N printer has vertical white lines running on left side of page and also has starting making loud squeaking noise while printing? Any ideas?

Try a different cartridge. While line typically means that no toner is being applied to the drum in that location. Would also explain the squeaks.
