Why can't I look at movies using my external DVD drive on my Dell inspiron 15 5000 series

is wrong REGION disk

a brand new 2016 PC it seems to me,
no OS told (windows 10 was new.)
no disk title told , 1 disk or 100+ like here.
no disk region told. 1,2,3,4?
not your country told and that tells me your region code. for PC.
I'm region 1, and only buy them, here, in a brick store .
most dells can be forced to wrong regions say 6 times, the locks in.
but not external drives, what you see is what you got.

run VLC player free from France,
never post about DVD unless first say I live in xyz country or say I live i region 1, and buy disks from EU R2 and they fail, so that be normal.
does the external drive play music disks celled CD_DA music
if yes the driver and driver works.
leaving only region wrong or VLC missing
google VLC player and get it. for free.

beeps means hardware failing or can not boot.
my dells all have BIOS log page to read why.
my dells all have built in diagnostics that find this too.

but ethernet in his PC uses intel 82577 GBe and it too must have the w10 driver or it too is dead.
dell.com has not only full drivers, for this PC.

My Dell Inspiron Model 3043 AIO boots up but has no cursor once booted.
No certain answer as cause is undiagnosed. Possible cause is a driver corruption. Another possible cause relates to a cabling issue, if you have an HDMI cable attached. These are wild shots in the dark. It could be anything from a bad power supply to a defective graphics card --or neither! In could even be a game corruption if you have been playing one that seizes control of the full screen. You can try to get to safe mode via pressing the power button three time, each time interupting the loading of windows quickly by pressing the power button again. You might get lucky on the fourth pressing of the power button and allowing it to complete the boot up. If you do get into simply safe mode, you might update your drivers. Or, you might from Safe Mode, run the DISM tool. If this does notw work, you might indeed have to reinstall the OS using Microsoft's Media Creation Tool and a flash drive, although that is certainly complicated by lack of a cursor which seems to stand in the way of accessing BIOS. You have not indicated what you were doing with the computer preceding this event nor the current OS, informaiton sometimes helpful in diagnosis. find a conversion kit
but are rare now after year 2010 and older had ccfl
this mon is 2009 ,the last CCFLs
all now are dead , most after 5 years time.
so most were scrapped, do to $100 conversion kits.
long ago most kits were for PC not old MONITORS>
the kit makers closed up shop due to the fact no buyers now.
all you can do is google, no need for me to do that for you.
the LCD inside most times the not possible to do. this.
ccfl ripped out and LED array put in and now the CCFL defuser fails for LED , looks very ugly
the LED has new defuser where would you get that, IDK.
most of these old MON are gone now, dumped.
need LED array new
need new defuser LCD for LED.
new LED power supply
and make all that fit,
the monitor working is worth $20 and zero not.
so why spend a all that labor and parts on old monitor
just buy used one 2011 or newer used and cheap?

the kit way , nice,(on PCs only)
and hack way , and the DEFUSER looked like H3LL
the LED make what call hot spots. too bright at LED points
really the electrics are simple but not Defuser.

How do I download a ringtone from my pc to my
go to myxer.com and find a song you want then there should be a button that says download for iphone. You will then download the file. Once downloaded you click and drag that file onto iTunes on the top left where is says music, movies, ect. it will then make a ring tone category you can now sync you phone and the ring tone should me there :)
