You can go to any repair facility and buy a replacement cord making sure of the wire guage and conductor (2 or 3) what you can do is make a wiring diagram and remove the old cord and holding the cord about 10 inches from end pull one wire at a time and if there is a break it will pull out to confirm your suspicion. its probably broken, but you could just add a foot operated switch from a hardware store which costs about 4$, which is cheaper than replacing the switch and easier to turn off and on while using the tool.

Try using the correct collet size

Look at the clogged teeth on the blade. Copper does that. Use a pair of tin snips.

There is a coupling between the drive motor and the chuck. You will need to take the tool apart to replace it. E-bay has these.

It will be under warranty if just bought it , if faulty it will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you .

The flashing light indicates an error, possibly your battery is shot or malfunctioning. New battery needed.

There might be many reasons but the one of them is you might be obstructing its air intake passage and it is over-heating.

If the threads on the nut or shaft are stripped, the nut will turn freely and it can be removed with pliers by turning and pulling at the same time.
