I got a Buffalo Tools Sportsman Portable Gas Generator with 1,500 Running Watts, 2,000 Peak Watts. the valves on the motor are very loose. how do i adjust them?

I have a 2.4kva generator,

White smoke means you burn oil.

You need to have it fixed, the springs need replaced. Most likely it run too hot. If the cylinder is scratched then repair is more expesive than replacement,

The pull start cover rope & spring will need to be removed. it may be bolted on or riveted on if rivets drill them out when off you'll see the problem spring dislodged or broken rope broke repair & reassemble. watch as spring is tricky to wind up..

Wrong fuel

Simple fix- Close fuel valve disconnect the fuel line below the shut off valve then open fuel valve and drain fuel out of tank into a safe device that will hold the amount that's in the tank. When done draining close valve reconnect fuel line and refill tank with fresh fuel. The oil in the gas won't hurt your engine it could fowl your spark plug if so just remove clean and re-gap.

LiteFuze LT-2000 keeps popping 220-240 breaker. Connected device says 1600watt requirement

On energizer model IN421, rectangular base has two pinch points to squeeze to remove. Once removed, is there supposed to be any metal connectors to keep the 4AA batteries from rattling and complete electrical connection?

you are missing the base in that image. The base holds the 4 batteries, probably in a plastic holder cartridge. They do need something across the bottom of the battery to connect all 4 and supply the bulb with 6 volts..
