How do you remove the tri handle?

You just pull the handles straight off the faucet. There are no screws or bolts holding the handles. Only a friction guide attached to the faucet stem. You can see this guide in the Grohe Classic Kitchen/Bar Faucet 31.057.000 installation instructions.

Hello, I got the handles

Hi it sounds like the cartridge or seats and stems are pooched. i should ask first do your old handles work?? to remove the cartridge or stems and seats you first have to turn the water off then try to open your taps ( handles to let the pressure out. ) if its a stem thats the turny part your handle screws to remove it underneath that is a thingy called a seat there is a special tool to remove the seat its cheap but you can also use a t handle allen wrench that fits the hole slides into the seat you aggressively turn and out it should come. if its a cartridge get a new ones and follow the directions some just screw in or have an o ring they just POP right in. remember that the hot should always be on the left of the faucet.

hope i was some help to you

Low water pressure in my

Hi,
The first thing to check is the areator at the end of the spout...
They often plug with dirt and drop the water pressure...
Take that off and check out the water with it off...
Then if it is still low then it is dirt trapped internally in the faucet...

Change grohe faucet washer

Hi, Ensure that all water is switched off from the mains incoming tap, and hot water turn off tap under your boiler if that's the system you have.
Next open both levers of tap to ensure no water coming out, then remove heads with adjustable spanner. (Anti clockwise). Take to nearest plumbers merchant and they will supply new washers. It is a good idea before putting heads back in! get some de-scale liquid and spray them until lime-scale removed.
Screw heads back in turn off both taps and re-instate water supply. Then open both taps to clear any air in system.
And that's it.
If you find the heads are in bad order then you can buy replacments cheap enough, Just ask your merchants advice.
Hope this helps Thanks Paul.

Slow water flow

first check that there are no kinks in the hoses if they are alright it is either a blocked restrictor in the tap or a fault with a tempering valve this valve will be located away from the tap and is what mixes hot and cold water together so that the hot water isn't too hot, in the inlets to the valve are strainers that get blocked clean them out and see how you go

My kitchen faucet is loss from the bottom and it

Tightening the nut on a faucet is tough to do in the tight space you have to work with. The proper tool to use is called a 'basin wrench' and is not too expensive. It has a swivel head to let you get it up to the nut and turn it from below. Here's a picture:

My Grohe Kitchen Fawcett lost

make sure you check the strainer that unscrews from the spout. SOmetimes these clog from sediment. ALso check the supply valves to the faucet (sometimes there is sediment in these--opening and closing helps) you may have to remove the cartridge(s) depending on you model number. You can probably download the manual at homeappliance.manualsonline.com

Mixer tap in kitchen hard to turn on and off

It is a simple matter of on o-ring being out of align. REmove the valve cartridge fromthe faucet by first shutting off the water at the shut-off valves. Then remove the handle by means of loosining the set-screw on the front side of the handle. Then remove the valve cartridge by unscrewing the packing nut that surrounds the shiny stem that the handle was connected to.

Once that is removed then the cartridge will slide out, probably with a bit of force. Replace the o-rings and any other washers that may be there and coat liberally with plumbing grease before re-installing. This should fix you right up.

Bring the old cartridges, rings and washers with you to your home improvement store to make replacing easier. Should be about $15-$20.

Good luck.

Grohe LadyLux kitchen pullout sprayer hose has spring surrounding the hose under the sink and is not retracting properly

there may be an issue with the hose or the weight that is attached to the hose under the sink. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the weight: There should be a weight attached to the hose under the sink. This weight is designed to help the hose retract back into the faucet. If the weight is loose or not in the correct position, it can affect the retracting ability of the hose. Make sure the weight is securely attached to the hose and is in the correct position.
  2. Check the hose for obstructions: The hose may not be retracting properly due to an obstruction. Turn off the water supply to the faucet and disconnect the hose from the faucet. Carefully inspect the hose for any kinks or blockages. If you find any obstructions, gently straighten out the hose and remove the blockage.
  3. Check for damage to the hose: The hose may not be retracting properly due to damage. Check the hose for any visible signs of wear and tear, such as cracks or tears. If the hose is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
  4. Lubricate the hose: Over time, the hose can become dry and lose its flexibility. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the hose to help it move more freely.

My grohe drain stopper is not holding in closed position. Is there a solution.

If it is a press and lock style, some of them can be pulled out and adjusted to make for more clearance so the locking mechanism has room to work. If it's the style that uses a pull rod from behind the spout, then the circular nut that holds the pop-up rod into the drain directly under the sink. If that's loose, then it won't allow the pop up to stay in place. Hope this helps

How to remove bell shaped escutcheon on Grohe Geneva lav faucet

Usually these things seize up and destruction and replacement is the only way. If only plumbers would use a little water pump grease or copper anti-seize, this wouldn't happen. Wrap a rubber glove around the bell and put a couple of layer of duct tape on the channel lock pliers. How do I fix slow drain brand new plumbing?

The drain pipe may not have been installed correctly - the slope may be wrong, or the pipe may be too small, or you may have too much backpressure, or if you have a septic tank it may be full and need pumping, or any number of other possible problems. You might have another plumber come for an assessment and opinion - make it clear that you don't necessarily intend to hire them to do any WORK, you just want their opinion. Then they won't try to sell you all new plumbing to replace what you just bought...
