In the menu appears TECH MODE.
To enter the reset require a password
1934. The numbers by pressing "LEFT" - "RIGHT",
After each number press the "OK"

Replace the Magenta toner.

Hi there, As it sounds its a dirty scanning glass. Open the top of the scanner so that you can see the scanning glass.. If your standing in front of it you will see on the left hand side a strip of thinner glass.. Take a damp cloth (better cloth with spirits/surgical alcohol) and clean the both the small and the large scanning glass. These lines normally cause if the glass is dirty. Especially if your using the document Feeder. As a lot of time wet ink or typex or correction fluid gets stuck on glass which will cause these lines.

There is, but best done in a shop. You remove the back cover, 4 screws, and the fuser is held in by another 4 screws. The fuser has to be aligned to gears on the right, and a spring loaded connector on the top left to be removed. You also have to remove the right cover and unplug the 2 cables to the fuser to get enough room to clear the jam.

The maximum paper weight that should be used on the CLX-3175 is 163gsm, so if you use thicker paper it would jam.

This is a sensor malfunction, to change the sensor I whould bring it to a samsung tachnician.

there is a rest of the paper jamed still inside the printer you need to remove all the jamed paper then it will work, to find out where the paper stuck's open the front and rear cover, maby you have to remove the toner cardriges as well.

Open door where toner cartridges are. On left side of cartridges below the Colour Letters is a small black handle. Just pull the handle and the bin comes out. You can't simply empty the bin and re-use, you need to order a new one from Samsung. Only costs $25 and just push in. Very easy, just need to wait for part to be ordered in and then collect it, which took me a week.

If you position the fax in the paper tray the writing should be up so you can still see it when it slides in to the port.

go to samsung download site and download the scanner driver for your printer after installation reboot your computer then try, it should work.

If the scanner driver in installed, and when you open ( My Computer ), you should see item for the scanner between the items or icons appear,
If not, it seems the scanner driver needs to be installed.
