Lexmark x2580 cartridge error
Try cleaning the copper strip that runs up the front of the cartridge (not the bottom) use a paper towel and some windex and wipe it off. if that does not work the cartridge may be shot. It does happen randomly or can be causedf by a power surge.

ONLY A NARROW IMAGE OF A 'SKETCH-UP' WILL PRINT
Before printing, configure the page setup on the application where you're printing from. Go to File -> Page Setup -> select Landscape orientation -> hit OK to save the setting.
To print your sketch, go to File -> Print -> Preferences/Properties -> from the Page Setup tab, select Landscape orientation -> from the Print Layout tab, select Borderless -> click OK to save the settings -> click OK to start printing.
I hope this information has been helpful.
If you need additional assistance, please contact Lexmark technical support.

Will not print.
First try to clean the gold contact points inside the printer, where the cartridge identification chip comes into the contact with the printer. this is located inside the cartrige slots. If that doesnt work check that the correct colours are being inserted into the correct slots. If you are using un-original cartridges or cartridges that have been refilled they may be incompatible or have been damaged through refilling, you must purchase original lexmark cartridges.
