Somebody hacked my yahoo messenger.
Hello there,
This information from yahoo might help you:
To change your password:
- From the Yahoo! Home page, click on your user name in the upper right.(You will need to be signed in already)
- From the drop down select Account Info
- You will be asked to sign in again to enter your Account Info page.
- Click Change your password
- You will be taken to a page that will look like the one below.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter and confirm your new password.
- Click Save. You will see a confirmation page when you have successfully changed your password.
- Click Continue.
Your Yahoo! password always applies to your entire Yahoo! account. This means that it is valid not only for Yahoo! Mail but also for Yahoo!'s other personalized services like :
- Yahoo! Messenger
- Yahoo! Chat
- My Yahoo!
- Yahoo! Finance
Note: If you are having difficulty logging into your account or believe your account may have been compromised please request a new password

Can't open my yahoo messenger
If you have multiple yahoo ID's and wants to login with more than one yahoo ID at the same time then don't worry, you can login with more than one yahoo ID at the same time using this tip. There is no need to install any other yahoo multi messenger version, you can easily covert your normal yahoo messenger into multi messenger and enjoy your many ID's at the same time.
Follow the given steps to change the yahoo messenger registry value:
i)Click Start button and type regedit in Run option then press Enter:
Here locate the location to:
ii) HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Yahoo/Pager/Test
iii) Here in right side panel, right click to create a new Dword value with name Plural and give value 1
iv) Now close the registry editor and restart your computer after any changes to go into effect.
v) For signing in with new YAHOO ID open another messenger(multiple)v open as many messengers you need.
vi) If you want to disable the multiple messenger option then again open registry editor and change Plural value 1 to 0.

According
to me you can use "Forgot Password" option to reset your
password (you will need to answer your security question or to
provide alternate email address to send password reset mail). If
still you are not able to reset password (with "Forgot Password"
option) then you can use messenger password recovery software (click

5.Check your email. Yahoo! will send you a message to reset your password.

6.Enter the answer to the second security question and click "Next." Yahoo! takes you to a new page that allows you to reset your password.
7.Enter your new password and then retype it. Click "Next." Your password is recovered.
I dont get in to a chat room
To Get In The chat room , You age should Have to be 18 or above ,,,, If it is below 18 Your chat request gets refused
If You want get into the chat room , MAke A new email Id and Keep Your age 18 or above ,,,
AFter doing this you can get into the chat rooms

Cant sign into yahoo messenger

Click the "Messenger" menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "Connection Preferences."
2. Enable the "No network detection" option and then click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window.
3. Yahoo! Messenger will ask you if you want to sign in again with your new proxy settings. Click the "OK" button.

you may have a registry problem download registry cleaner reg in out to fix the issue

How to register at yahoo messenger?
When you a have an account with yahoo mail automatically you are sign to yahoo messenger. So you need a yahoo ID before you can enter yahoo messenger and you have you have yahoo id you will log in with your yahoo id and password. to enter yahoo messenger.
You can click on yahoo messenger icon and enter you id and password and then click sign in.
But if don't have the yahoo messenger icon, just go to yahoo and click on yahoo messenger and enter your id and password to sign in.

You having some issues in Registry....Uninstall yahoo messenger first...clean and fix your registry with CCleaner or other same related program Install Latest and comptatible version of Yahoo Messenger
