LG WD-1021-WF Front Loader Washing Mashing

Not a hard task if you coat rims with liquid detergent before trying to install new seal.
Using thumb go slowly around rim working seal all the way back.
Replacing main spring can be done by working bottom to top and then hold left side of spring in place while you pull right side in with long nose pliers.A couple of minutes difficult work and your 90% done.
Care is required so as not to puncture seal,
Main point is to ensure seal is fully seated before applying spring.
Having machine laid on its back makes the job so much easier.

This job took an hour and 30 minutes, the hour spent checking the internet first.
Good luck

Hi there, my LG wd-80481tp

Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. CL means child lock, it might have got locked. Try pressing "dry" & "spin" together for 10 seconds or until the CL disappears. Also try pressing "end of cycle" for over 5 seconds. If this doesn't work then try pressing "options & select" till the light goes off. Also try and press ECO and rapid buttons together for more than 10 seconds. Please rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Thanks
Rylee

I have an lg wm2032hw

Hi

This issue can be either due to unbalanced load or due to something stuck in the drain pump or drain filter. To check you'll need to disassemble the washer to check the load and the drain pump. To check the drain pump, follow the procedure-

Drain Pump--

1. Disassemble the cabinet cover.
2. Separate the pump hose, the bellows and the circulation hose assembly from the pump assembly. Please note that there would be lots of water when you'll remove the hose from the pump.
3. Disassemble the pump assembly in anticlockwise direction. Clean the pump and the filter screen. Check for coins, zippers, etc.

Noise Filter--

1. Unscrew the screw from the top plate.
2. Unplug the 2 connectors.

To remove anything stuck between the drum and tub-

1. Disassemble the cabinet cover.
2. Separate the heater from the tub.
3. Remove any foreign objects (wire, coin, etc.) by inserting a long bar in the opening.

Also, make sure the dampers are fine and the balancing load/s is not loose. Hope this helps... If it does please do not forget to accept the solution or post back for assistance.

The display screen is showing CL. Nothing is

CL is child lock. See your users manual for unlocking the child lock procedure. Usually it involves pressing 1 or 2 buttons for 3 to 5 seconds. Many machines actually have a lock button you press for 3 - 5 seonds. Others use the stop pause button.

Error code de

The code means the main control board (PWB) detected that the door is open when the machine is started or while it is running. It may indicate a loose connection between main control board and door lock/switch assembly, the door is not all the way closed, or the door lock/switch assembly is faulty.

Make sure the door is closed firmly and the machine is not overloaded which may cause the load to push the door and cause the intermittent deactivation of the door lock/switch assembly. Check to make that the wire harness connecting the door lock/switch assembly and the main control board is intact and fully inserted to both. You need to take the panel off to access the main control board in the left rear side of the cabinet. The door lock/switch assembly can be accessed by removing the spring clamp that is securing the door seal to the outer lip of the door opening. Once it is removed, peel off the part of the door seal near the door lock/switch assembly to gain access to it.

Remove the screws securing the door lock/switch assembly to the front panel then take it out of the cabinet. The door lock/switch assembly connection can now be checked or replaced if no issue is found in the troubleshooting outlined above. Simply connect the new door lock/switch assembly and secure it back into position. Put the door seal back over the outer lip of the door opening and secure it with the spring clamp.

LD WD1238C Door is Locked shut tried every trick

often on the upper grade washing machines, the components are a little more sophisticated. Possibly once you have removed the top lid, you will see the door latch from the back. some of the latches have a drawstring that you can pull which mechanically releases the door and opens. If you are able to before getting into stripping the wachine, gie it a quick cycle run and let it complete the cycle, Then try and open it. go from there.
