My jazzy select wont turn

Steve Make sure that you have battery voltage first. If you have a digital voltmeter set it to 200 volts dc amd plug the leads into the 2 outer charger port holes located under the front of the joystick. Fully charged you should be reading 26-27 volts. If you have no reading at all check the cable to make sure it is plugged into the rear of the chair. if you have a good reading then you have another problem. The switch on the joystick uses a metallic coating on the bottom to engage the circuit board switch. If this is worn then it could be giving you the problem. we can cheat and you will have to slowly peel back the faceplate cover on the joystick until you can see the bottom of the on/off switch then support the cover above the joystick with a pencil and glue a small piece of foil to the bottom of the switch leaving it supported until the glue dries, trim the foil to fit the switch bottom and slowly replace the faceplate cover. then try to turn the chair on it should come on if it doesn't then you will have to ge the chair checked for other problems hope this helps

Need a Footrest for Pride Jet 3 ultra

The footrest for this power chair comes in a wide variety of styles and configurations. To duplicate the correct footrest it is best to go by description of hanger, extension tube length, and footplate style or simply have the manufacturer run the serial number. The serial number will lock in the exact footrest configuration delivered with the wheelchair. With the SN a dealer can order individual parts that will fit and work correctly. This will ultimately will save you time and money. Hope this helps.

How do I find and replace the 7.5 Amp battery

The 7.5 Amp ATO fuse is located in line with a rubber cap on it under the rear electronics cover. It is a well kept secret, well hidden, and you have to know its there. The rear electronics cover has an AC receptacle, meter, circuit breaker reset button, and main hand control connector on it. Remove the cover and look for the in-line fuse. It is a black rubber fuse holder with a rubber cover. It is connected with one wire to the harness connected to the charger and the other wire from it goes to the charging meter (red and green with moving pointer). It is probably easiest to find the fuse holder by starting at the meter and tracing the wire back to the fuse holder. Pull off the rubber cap and insert a new automotive style 7.5 amp fuse. You can tell if the old fuse is burnt out by holding it up to the light. If the wire inside is burnt open, the fuse is bad. Be careful when putting everything back together that you don't pinch or disconnect any wiring. Hope this helps.

I have a jazzy select 14 with an on board charger.

Mike since you know that the charger is not working you have two options purchase a new on-board charger or try to locate a good off-board charger from the area. A friend that has an extra charger or from a local provider that sells chairs. The off-board charger will plug into the charger port under the front of the joystick and will charge the batteries just as well. Just don't use the on-board charger but leave it in the chair. Hope this helps

Jazzy 1113ATS will power up will allow tilt

It may be that the tilt sensor is not working right. Depending on the age of the chair, it will have either a mercury switch sensor that will disable drive when it sense a tilt of more than about 10 degrees, or older ones use two limit switches that are activated when the tilt reaches a certain setting. If one of the switches is stuck, it won't allow the chair to move but the tilt will still function properly. You'll need an experienced tech to test if you don't have the tools or training. Good luck.

Jazzy select 14 won't charged - have replaced

At a minimum your batteries need to be charged for 12 hrs a day for the first month if not they will not build the capacity and will dwindle and die for example it is at only 25% capacity it says it fully charged but will die quickly this happens because it is charged to its full capacity but that is only 25% of the batteries true potential resulting in short battery life. Also the new batteries need to be charged before they are put on your jazzy. Then its a matter of if not in use put on charge. I think you need to have a word with your dealer.

I thank you all most sincerely, for your kind and helpful suggestions, But perhaps I didn't explain my question properly. I am the new owner of a GoGo mobility scooter. On the handlebars are the u

From a pure physics standpoint... The energy to climb a hill... be it from the steep side or the gentle sloping side is the same... It is just easier on your heart and joints to take the gentle slope... (assuming you have the time). ERGO: If treating the scooter like a QUEEN is your goal... DEFINITELY GO SLOW. Tat way you will have no idea if it has any weak spots when you need it to go fast (and you will). I'm old... I don't have TIME to waste! Carnac the Magnificent

Pride elite traveller 4 a knock when driven coming

hi,

Sounds to me like the worm drive is slipping , this can happen when the worm drive small bearing is worn,

If you do take it a part , please take great care, the shaft from the motor will have a worm drive, two bearings on the worm drive,

Try to move the shaft within the bearings, I paid £10 for replacement bearings.

Please give me a update.
