Batteries tested OK, Charger shows 2 1/2 amps Nothing works
Hi. I have had a couple of these circuit breakers go faulty. The button is pushed in but there is still no circuit through it. Check them with a multi-meter.
Check all the battery connectors, these sometimes loose tension in the contacts, and although they are connected they do not have a circuit through them.
I have even seen a pride scooter with a faulty battery meter. The needle was jambed, and it looked like the machine had no power.
Any flashing LED's on the display?
I saw a machine once, ( not a pride ), the customer had a cincilla for a pet. I climbed under the machine and chewed all the wiring.
Good luck. Neil.

Rear wheel sticks and sometimes when you go to go
Hi. Sounds like you have worn out motor brushes. the brushes wear down to short and get stuck in the brush holders. Sometimes the caps that hold the carbon brushes in come loose, and the carbon brushes get stuck because the current arcs between the carbon brush and the brush guide. Get a serviceman to overhaul the motor, and it will work fine. Probably a good idea to replace the motor bearings at the same time. Good luck. Neil.

Sounds like wiring loom or simply the charger is broken. Do you get both lights on the charger or just the power light? Should be a 5 amp charger on those if im not mistaken. Best bet is to get a multimeter, disconect one wire from the one of the batteries and put your multimeter wires between the disconnected battery lead and the battery terminal from which you disconnected it. Put the multimeter on the the 10 amp setting and switch on the charger. See what the reading is. If its zero or very low, would more than likely indicate a faulty charger but still could be the loom or even the scooters main control box, as the charging loom is usuall connected through this. Hope this helps.

Lights work but scooter will not run
have you pressed the reset button .Also make sure the scooter is in drive before turning on the ignition. Another thing could be badly worn brushes on the motor or even a plug connector not fully home. The most common is not fully charged batteries. IF IT IS NONE OF THESE GET BACK TO ME PLEASE.

The wood in my seat is braking up and my seat
Hi I have looked and looked to fix your problem now what I would do is the first thing I would ring the company that made your scooter and ask them for the pattern for your chair and make it that way or undo it bit by bit and write down everything you take off and where it goes and get the design that way then you could ring someone that covers lounge chairs and seats etc and get them to make you a cover in the material that suits your needs eg if you sweat alot or if the material rubs on your back or legs and you get a rash what ever you like they usually have a sample list that they carry with them and you can see for yourself of what suits you. and the next thing is to contact this company
http://www.usmedicalsupplies.com/search.html?q=+4+Wheel+Scooter+seat they might be able to build you a seat at a good price I believe the best wood you could find for your seat would be hardwood
then I would use a waterproof decking oil over it as this would stop the wood from braking on you it is also mould proof and a lot of other features this oil has is great I just found out about it my self this oil will also protect your seat in extreme heat to stop it from splitting the waterproofing of this oil is great for snow, heat, mould, splitting, cracking etc as it is designed for patios etc but make sure if you do it yourself you cover your hole seat in oil even the parts that are going to be covered just in case your material splits then you wont have to worry about the wood getting damaged the decking oil ( which is what it is called here in Australia) has a garentee for 10yrs
so give that a go and please let me no if there is anything else I can chase for you or if you are stuck with somethin
Cheers

How do i remove the pride legend classic xl8 seat
hi, be careful here as it can make your back ache,
now there is a lever to the right of the seat, pull it up towards you and
turn your seat 90 anticlockwise, so the seats not facing the control panel, at right angles, you should now be able to lift the seat , take great care here if you have back problems in the past as some seats are quite heavy.

How can i DE-RISTRICTED my SUKIDA DRAGONFLY
hi,
there are a couple of ways to do this ,
Upgrade the batteries to a higher amps say 40amps to 55amps etc,
but if the controller is say 70amps, more powerful batteries will not make it go any faster so you will need to also look at the motor controller.
first what is the rating for the installed motor controller ? can that be upgraded to more amps say from 70amps to 110amps etc however you must take care here that the motor can handle the extra amps otherwise you will burn it out,

Scooter just stops light flashes 8times
hi, 8 flashes mean there is a issue with the motor according to pride, now you need to check the motor connections back to the motor controller, have you check the brushes to make sure they are not sticking inside the motor,
sometimes eight flashes can mean that the speed pot has moved slightly so it in the wrong position when you turn it on, experiment by pushing in the throttle lever and holding it there now turn on it on,
if this sort the problem , undo the throttle lever and relocate so it in the right position hwne you first turn it on.

I have a komfi-rider 6000 i,ve had it on charge
Is your charger light on - i.e. is your charger working? Otherwise you may need new batteries....but take a note of the details on the battery and search around on the net for generic ones - much cheaper than the original make!

Only one battery charging on mobility scooter
If only one battery is charging than you only have one good battery. You should have BOTH batteries load tested. If you have to replace one than you should replace both. If you only replace one battery then it will shorten the life of the new one.
