Unscrew the vent at the top of the microwave(2 phillips head screws)
inside to the right you'll see another screw holding a metal panel. Unscrew this and take the panel off and you'll see the bulb, which will unscrew counter-clockwise

I can help solve this fiasco , opening the unit while its running to stop it is not good to do because it will wear the door switches due to the load of power the unit uses while running the switches are not made to cycle the unit.
2nd there is radiation in the unit and around the unit while running so you should not reach in inside the unit immediately when stopped , give it a few seconds. Some commercial microwaves have an un-safe level of radiation 20+ feet away from the unit.
Most likely why they always get the order wrong.
Hope this helps.

First of all, microwave ovens do not emit ionizing radiation.

The only risk from any leakage is a burn.

Generally, microwave leakage only occurs when the door / door seal is loose or damaged or there has been an improper repair attempt.

You can select a model which lets you turn the beeper on and off by looking for that feature as you shop manufacturer Web sites, or in the store ask the clerk to pull the manual for you to examine, or contact the manufacturer's help center, support center, or FAQ.

If the top is open, the upper door switch should be open and the high voltage section should not be energized. That's the way it's *supposed* to work. But that buzzing is worrysome! Does the turntable turn during this condition? Does the inside light come on? How about the fan? If not, then I would doubt that it's cooking. If so, some models will do this. It's not uncommon to notice that the fan and light will try to come on for a split second when you shut the door. This would not indicate a problem. It has to do with the timing of the door switches and a replay on the board. If it's still under full warranty, it wouldn't hurt to call a GE-authorized servicer.

Go for a warranty repair anyway. It may be the magnetron, and the clicking is the big condenser discharging.

A Combination microwave has two separate sides to it, a grill with elements and a microwave with a magnetron and associated step-up transformer, capacitors and circuitry.

Check at the rear for a fuse, but you probably need an LG Service Centre. Click Support.

THE HIGH VOLTAGE FUSE IS IN A PLASTIC EXTRUSION NEXT TO THE CAPACITOR AND DIODE.
YOU CAN USE 3 OR 4 STRANDS OF THIN WIRE FROM MULTI STRAND 15A MAINS CABLE. SOLDER IT OVER THE BLOWN FUSE. I HAVE DONE THIS 100'S OF TIMES.

It's most likely your door switch. I have the same problem and was told that. I'm not 100% certain, but will take a look at mine and let you know.

What is it that you are losing ? You can set the power level by using the marked touchpads on the touchpanel, much like setting the volume on a TV. If you do not change the power setting and it is taking a long time to heat things or intermittently fails to, that is usually a sign that the Magnetron has reached its use by date and needs to be replaced. Not always an economical proposition unfortunately as spare parts are often exorbitantly priced.
Before removing the cover of the oven in attempt to carry out any maintenance such as replacing the Oven cavity lamp, make sure the oven is disconnected from the power point ! The voltages in a microwave oven ARE LETHAL !
